What great ideas, they give those old pieces new life!
So much today is mass produced whereas these cottage industry pieces are unique!
Every artist needs someone standing behind them to make them stop, because they are never satisfied with their creations and may end up going to far.
I know, I've been there, done that!
I think their all wonderful and I would be happy to own one, so if you do consider that, make sure you each have your own unique identity mark.
The North wind doth blow and we shall have snow,
and what will your poor birds do then, poor things?
    Cheers,

Hi! Watching at the moment, what a super idea! Did you know that you can make stamps out of polystyrene sheets such as pizza bases. Trace it out with ball point pen lightly then go over it pressing slightly more. Repeat till its deep enough. If you're careful they last a long time. Similar effect to sponge. Oh, funky foam shapes are good too.

What a Wonderful idea, Ladies. Cutting that foam into such detailed patterns would seem to be quite a challenge, but then again you are two of the many true "Artisans" : ) At first I thought you were going to mosaic onto the marmalade pottery with the found spongeware, though I'm very delighted at your idea. If you ever do mosaic them, the ribbed containers would provide the perfect surface to adhere the pieces to. I learned a tip or two, having been a tile layer as one of my past occupations. Another tip .... (Use an old electric knife when cutting foam rubber), to get smaller pieces to make your designs. It works incredibly well and it's fun. Love your beautiful and curious kitter cat. Name? Thank you for the history on spongeware. An early form of spatter ware was utilized by early indigenous tribes, while creating hieroglyphics on the walls of caves. The most famous ones are of horses and other animals. Loved All of your designs, though I really adored the playfulness of the crazy mudlarking jar that Alex designed and the egg cup with dainty flowers with egg yolks, that Gail designed, as well as her hair doo. : ) Thank You both for brightening another day for me. All of your designs were Perfect in and because of, their imperfections. As Alex suggested she may, Please Do, do the Shroo. : )

Those turned out so cool. If they get left behind so much, collect them all, and bring them back to life (then sell them to meeeee lol)

Such a beautiful job ladies. Is there no end to your creativity and talents. Glass painting old bottles next? Poor shwoos getting their feet cold in the snow, let them in to share the fireside with the cat. 🤣
