As someone who has battled multiple times before, stage presence is a big thing. If battles were only judged purely based on technical ability we would lose lots of things we love about battles. Aggresive battling, musical expression, dominance on stage. I dont find it disrespectful in any way to stand in front of your opponent aswell as move around energetically. Involving and entertaining the crowd and judges into the battle will sway their votes in your favour, thats just how things are. If judges only valued technical ability, lets use colaps or alem as an example, most battles would only consist of two people standing perfectly still across eachother, doing drum patterns. That doesnt sound entertaning does it? IMO Julard did very well and deserved the win overall. Marvelous is incredible and in some aspects superior to the champ but he has to and will learn how to establish stage presence. Klown does a great job of breaking down these things and explaining them in detail. I know my broken english wont suffice to change anyones mind but I do hope that the people who keep rambling about a robbery think twice before taking away from an artists performance. All love, ESH!
You two doing great.. But for me This problem just like You playing Football and Diving In the penalty Box And Judge Give u a Gift(Penalty Kick). Its just only about Perception.
@@julardbbx8091no one is perfect, sorry if we came across harsh, me personally I don’t wanna take anything away from your victory, you did amazing the whole competition (minus the twerking)
It's a very important power move to take the middle of the stage julards stage presence helped him win the gbb marvelous was doing crazy stuff but he was pushed off by julard and he made him look nervous some may see it as annoying but julard did everything right
Julard win not only with beatbox its battle moove to don't look at him Marvelous don't come in Julard he is blocked is a small corner and as u can see Julard is taking all the stage and playing with the crown .. That' why he win. Nice reaction bro keep doing
I love marvelous but ppl are meat riding, Julard had a better stage attitude and his rounds are just better and hes not standing infront of marvelous for nothing..its literally a tactic bruh, if marvelous wanted to he could move around
bro i genuinely hate too how julard stands Infront of the opponent beatboxer and takes the center everytime its so annoying, like just allow it why you being annoying
All of the pros beatboxers would move on the stage if julard do this, Marvelous had to learn of this and work on his stage presence, Julard knows he can destroy stage presence of Marvelous because Marvelous was not trained and he was too shy, this is a battle not a fantasy battle, you have to know what are the weaknesses of your opponents, look Napom vs River Napom knows what to say to make River disapointed, its not very kind but its a battle, stop being shocked of battle moves
@@laxusyoubraindead7240 touching your opponent is a rule, you don't have to do this, in battle rap its the same, blocking the stage presence of your opponent is a mind game, the opponent had to move
8:40 is why. Julard has Colaps, River, Alem, Alexinho etc. teaching him and supporting him. They have a lot of champions, and these champions love to give their knowledge to young talent
7:15 i definitely disagree it's a battle at the end of the day. If you look at any of the battles in the solo category they also try to do it there, but the opponents don't just stand still and let them do that. It's also about stage presence not just about the beatbox. You need to be able to really sell your routines aswell
