Sunoo was sent over and over to GROUND. He has a lot of presence on stage and that is why he is very loved by the audience. While at GROUND he showed his talents during the performances he had and the judges took notice as well. I think it was a surprise to the first runners-up because they didn't see the Grounders as competition.

Yes, i agree with you @ Dulce Martinez. If sunoo was not sent to the ground, he would have not been given the chance to show his talent because somehow in the i-land, everyone shows favorites so no other person can show their own skill.

Friendly reminder, being a kpop idol is about attracting audience, having a decent personality and giving off good vibes. These are just as important as talents so next time someone says another ilander deserved to be number 1 cause of his talents, remember this was global audience vote, you can't blame the whole 2millions+ . I'm glad someone noticed other than me. While other trainees were expressing discontent and being salty about their rankings, during the ranking announcement it was only Jay who remembered to thank those who voted for him. Makes you want to root for him more!

People keep forgetting the judges gave Sunoo and Daniel a high score, Daniel scored the highest in the team evaluation, Rain praised Sunoo for being focused from the beginning to end but yet people are undermining their abilities. . Daniel is the youngest and Sunoo has health issues & short training but despite all that they get high scores and praises from judges. They need more training and experience but their ability to improve pose a higher potential than the others who trained for so many years but lack the ability to show improvement. Also not to mention that both Daniel and Sunoo got voted off every single time despite having high scores. The ilanders always voted for their friends and voted off some of the talented trainees.

I think Daniel and Sunoo were unfairly voted out so this was bound to happen. You all are so quick to point out they were ranked high by judges but forget minor details. Sunoo made it top 6 but not 1-3. Daniel ranked 2nd, not first that was Jungwon, but only once. Also after fire performance judges could have put him back on ILAND but didn't. Means he ranked lower than the ones that did. If judges had ranked them instead they wouldn't have ranked that high. Next ep will be the real deal. I think everyone will want to prove themselves. Especially Sunoo and Daniel because they want to so they're worthy of their ranks. Anything can happen. I don't think the first rank is an accurate reflection of talent and skills. Its more like popularity, talent and skills. Look how low Jungwon ranked by the public but judges ranked him 1st 2 out of 4 tests. Poor him.

What’s even more emotional is that it’s not the first time Sunoo didn‘t get like „accepted“ by the I-landers. I cried so much in this survival Show because of Sunoo. He had to go through A LOT and there are people out there saying he is just popular because of his visuals ? Like yes he is handsome and cute but ya‘ll forgot about his talents ? His vocals, charisma, performance, ... he was just born with talent and yes he also has visuals and a great personality like he is just too sweet for this world.
7 months later and I am glad that he debuted. I still feel so bad for him everytime I watch it..
I don’t even hate K, but he just have to accept the reality. It just looks like he underestimates the grounders. Sunoo and Daniel deserve it too. They were never kicked off by the producers but instead, they were picked to go the ground by the i-landers. They did well on the past tests but still they were voted to go out by the i-landers. And I also want K to watch his mouth carefully, what comes from his mouth may hurt Sunoo or Daniel when they hear about this. They must be happy for each other for they have come this long. I hope they love each other and respect each other’s talents.
Outerspace yeah, i do know about mnet’s evil editing but you can see throughout the episode that K is unhappy with the result. Would he be happy if Heeseung got the first place? Why can’t he be happy for Sunoo and Daniel? They deserve it too. It ain’t their fault that they are popular. What’s with the, “ I don’t like the ranking “ thingy? If Sunoo and Daniel didn’t ranked first and second, would he be happy then? It just shows here his character. I don’t even hate him, I just disagree with what he showed us throughout the episode. And I know he’s a great dancer, and he stayed long as an i-lander. But that doesn’t mean participants from grounders can’t be number one. If he can’t accept that, I think he doesn’t belong to this.

And most fans didnt vote for the 6 survivors as they are already safe for prt2 of the show they choose to vote hard to grounders to save them. Which i think one of the reason why 2 of the grounders rank higher.

I'm so uncomfortable with the energy of ilanders. They didn't even clap for sunwoo being 1st place cause they're busy sulking over it. They used to clap for 1st places before. We know their "surprised" reaction by now, even if they were shocked they should've brushed it off and been happy that they made it to part 2. I think we all agree being humble is way more attractive even when you're BTS. Sunwoo didn't even manage to smile for achieving something awesome. Just because they are from ground doesn't mean they're not as talented as ilanders. In my opinion they even have more potential. Sunwoo and daniel deserve so much better. Idk what allows any ilander to have that kinda confidence to say those things about someone else's achievement

I think that the ilanders were kind of looking down on Sunoo because he was the first to be dropped out, like i was absolutely sad when i saw it. and so all the ilanders dont think that Sunoo has the potential so thats why they’re all very upset over it. tho i so think they should have at least celebrated for them cause they deserve a smile, i know its hard to see someone take a place you want but its only fair from the viewers.
I'm so sorry but i'm so mad at the 'theyve been in ground, i don't understand how they got high votes' mindset. Being in iland doesnt make you the best out of all, so many talented trainees are stuck in ground despite being a good vocal and dancer. It's not their position to congratulate everyone. Like how can you congratulate others when your own rank is at danger. Everyone was probably feeling anxious and sad. Anxious bec anytime they could get the rank 12 and be eliminated, and sad bec they got lower votes.

Edit : keep going all grounders, even though they are continue in part 2 because of vote, still they are very very talented and have so much potential. All 6 of them (Sunoo, Daniel, Taki, Geonu, Niki, and Hanbin) They deserve everything.

Sunoo and Daniel really deserve the top spot for the debut team. They showed the biggest improvement even when they were in both I-Land and Ground. 'Save Me' was the big turning point and they both showed they deserve to debut. Hope they both make it together.

It's like ilanders have some prejudice against grounder and they also think heesung and k are the best and They should be on top.
It should not be like that. Remember when they were distributing lines for fire, the original ilanders kept suggesting themselves for good parts and the grounders were made to feel they are not good enough.
They sure deserve to be at the top just not sure if 1st or 2nd (just my opinion) since I truly believe that other members have higher skills. But I just want everyone to debut :'(

선우 표정과 "대박, 어떻해" 하고 다니엘이 "이게 말이 돼?" 하는게 너무 귀여움. 이 투표결과 보고 놀라서 이 둘이 같이 한 그라운드 총대 노래 배틀 봤는데 둘이 진짜 잘했더라구요. 또 선우는 1회부터 팬영상도 많아 스타성 보이는 것 같아요. 다니엘의 잠재력도 대박. 만 14세 키 185에 보컬 노래 너무 좋고 춤선도 좋고 등등. 사실 돌이켜보면 1차 미션때 프로듀스 점수 다니엘 70점으로 엄청 높았는데 맴버투표로 그라운드 갔죠.
둘이 연습생 기간 짧아 부족한데도 보여지는 스타성이라는게 투표결과로 보여진 것 같아 응원하게 되네요.

totally agree, i know they are sad cause they thought they would rank higher but shouldn't they at least be mature enough to congratulate them and not belittle them just because they are from the ground? they all need to learn real teamwork.. Even if something doesn't work out the way you want it to, you shouldn't spend your time feeling sorry for yourself or being jealous of others. You should use this time to develop yourself and see it as just another step towards your goal.

I’m really glad this happened. It knocked the I-LANDer’s egos down a peg. They kept isolating people who would come from GROUND and would favor long-term I-LANDers, in decisions and in voting, so that people who didn’t deserve to leave by viewers’ standards were being sent to GROUND. But they forgot that the world was watching GROUND, too. We saw their hard work. We saw their personalities. We saw their skills. A big part of the reason people liked Jay in the show is because of how well he led at GROUND. We saw Ni-ki’s phenomenal dance skills at GROUND. We saw Sunoo’s sunshine personality at GROUND. We heard Hanbin’s beautiful voice at GROUND. And we knew they deserved a chance, too.
We can never blame the trainees' feelings, it's just that they are more anxious and nervous now. Everything is getting into a different level, more extreme, so they are more frustrated and anxious. I understand how K felt, honestly in every survival show, the voting system is one of the most frustrating thing. I actually want all of them to debut, They all deserve it. I hope Bighit and their collab companies, would consider to debut them, even in two groups, or 1 group, but 2 units? *sigh*

The way some contestants are bitter for Sunoo is pure cringe. Sunoo captured a lot of fans and the grounders. But the way I-landers voted Sunoo to eliminate again and again in part 1 is so bothering. Heeseung got 3rd maybe becux many people thought he’s safe. And yea sunoo got voted out twice by the ilanders but he also got up to iland by the producers. No matter how talented an idol is, if he doesn’t get support from fans, then he won’t be successful. So this global voting system is also a chance for them to improve and learn how to get support from the audience.

I think K and the previous I-landers need to understand that Sunoo was in the ground not because he lagged behind but because THEY always voted him off. He wasn't picked by the producers to be sent to the ground infact , the producers chose him to be sent back to the I-land from ground .He even scored much higher and made it to top6 in the "fire" task. This is no hate towards K but since he is the oldest contestant I expected him to be a lot mature . IK about Mnet's evil editing that's why I didn't point out Jake or Heeseung's reaction but K did have a lot to say and those words did come out of his mouth regardless of the editing . I hope they don't underestimate him.
remember that Sunoo also voted Taki out although he had high scores. Maybe the ilanders have their standard to value the others while living with them that camera could not record.
Maybe they voted sunoo out because he lagged behind. They lived and practiced together at least for a week. We only watched 1 hour edited version when sunoo stayed in iland. They certainly sensed or saw something we haven't witnessed. Sunoo is still young and mistakes can happen.

Yeah I feel like a lot of people voted based on who they thought were in danger of getting eliminated (Grounders) and didn't vote for the I-Landers because they thought they'd be safe which is why some of the rankings are weird. I feel like once they do the voting again the rankings will change.

2 CENTS FOR THIS EPISODE: Stakes are higher in part 2 because of the ranking system and lesser time for debut unlike part 1 where they worked as a team and voted out people for the benefit of the group. As they say, lesser competitors mean more competition. Their comments about being shocked about those who topped the ranks threw mo off bcoz they were setting standards on who should rank 1st. Seeing them grimace makes me feel sympathetic to those who got their hard-earned positions. It's a survival show. Ranks are obviously given because the final line up will be according to your standing. Also, them being in the ground before does not mean incompetency. Votations were just assessed among the trainees and do not reflect the judgement of the producers. Belittling others does not prove your superiority. I think all of you already who I am talking about but I think he still has time to reflect on his attitude. Remember to keep your feet on the ground when desperation and jealousy get in the way. You all worked equally hard to get there :))
