Always a good watch! We aren’t going to do anything other than the port either next month. Side note: I don’t think any of us know your name! We know Roberta and Jake, but you’re name never comes up. Lol
Always enjoy watching your videos! My fiancé and I are going on Oasis of the Seas in March 2024 and have pretty much the same ports as you did on the Mariner. We are the exact same way in that we try not to spend any extra money on the excursions and such, and just enjoy what's free to us on the islands 🙂
I knew you and I had a brother connection when I saw you drink Mello Yello zero! My wife and I go to Schlotsky’s every Wednesday for the buy one get one free pizzas and flatbreads, and they have the free choice machine there. I get Mello Yello zero peach every time. Recently my wife finally tried it and is getting the limeade or Citrus twist Mello Yello zero. I don’t do very many cokes or dr. Peppers anymore, because the dark caramel syrup messes with me a bit. So, the few light colored sodas with caffeine are mostly Mountain Dew zero and mellow yellow zero. For our two upcoming cruises on mariner and harmony I plan to bring a 12 pack of Mt Dew Zeroes, but the soda package is looking tempting on the five day trip. I only do one soda a day though so I may get the refreshment package (including sodas) or none at all and skip the soda package.
@@MedlingWorld I especially remember Mello Yello for being one of the main nascar sponsors in Tom Cruise's "Days of Thunder" movie. I remember Hardees and Mello Yello being plastered all over the racing cars and getting good advertisement time, years before I actually made effort to try a mello yello!
I love how your videos are very detailed. I agree on the food in the Windjammer. I was on the Wonder last month and it just depends on what you get. Most of the food I had in there was pretty good though and I am picky eater.
Yeah, people out there need proper training in how to eat at a buffet. Then of course, they need the specific info on how to eat at a RC Cruise Buffet. But usually I will make a first pass trying little samples of the things I think I will like, hopefully confirmed by what looks good and fresh visually at the time. Then my next plate will focus on those samples I enjoyed from my first plate, in addition to watching and timing when fresh trays or batches of food come out hot or fresh. I also put priority on those areas that make you fresh made to order items (like omelets made to order over standard scrambled eggs, or stir fry made to order, etc). If you are creative, selective, and clever, you should always be able to find some things you really like.
Another great video. We like seeing the ports we're going to. U always give good info. Keep doing what u do. Ur videos really get us hyped about the cruise. Oct 6th Freedom. I know it's a long way off, but book it.. I'll be happy to pay for ur refreshment packages.
We love Jamaica and the Jamaican people. We have been to Jamaica 20 times to resorts plus a few more times on cruises. Be respectful to them and you will normally have a great time , be an ass and you won't like it.
Never ever take your passports with you or the ship. Keep them in your safe. Take a picture of them and E mail them to yourself and someone who stayed home . Only take your sign and sail card and your driver's licence in port. A US passport is worth a lot of money here. Jamaca is a dangerous country for you to visit.
Dinner looks delicious tonight. The corn cakes looked delicious Hope you guys feel better from your sea sickness tomorrow 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Mello Yello reminds me of being a kid. It was very popular back in the 80's and they had cool commercials lol! 😎 Enjoy your cruise!

You need to keep a bottle of boninne or meclazine

Thank you so much! Windjammer definitely a hit or miss. When all else fails fries or a burger work lol! 😎
