Our next event was by HH Bhakti Charu Swami being interviewed by HG Supta Das. An in-depth interview with HH Bhakti Charu Swami about his journey from disciple to spiritual master. Guaranteed to be an enlightneing event!
About the speaker.
His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami is a Gaudiya Vaishnava sannyasi and a leader of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. He was born in Bengal in 1945 and spent most of his early life in the city of Calcutta. In 1970, he left India to study chemistry in Germany. Coming across Vedic literatures while in Germany, he discovered the richness of India’s spiritual heritage. In 1975 he returned to India to wholeheartedly pursue spiritual life.
After thoroughly studying the Vedic scriptures, Maharaj became aware of the need to find a spiritual master who could lead him on a sound spiritual course. After travelling to the Himalayas and searching for one year without coming across a spiritual master to whom he could fully surrender, he felt despondent and disappointed. When he almost gave up hope, he came across a book called The Nectar of Devotion by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Srila Prabhupada).
About the Interviewer.
Sutapa Das is a resident monk at ISKCON UK’s headquarters, Bhaktivedanta Manor. Although he grew up in the suburbs of London, he was always attracted to the idea of ’simple living high thinking’, keenly seeking a more profound meaning to life. After graduating from UCL in 2002 with a BSc degree in Information Management, he decided to take up a monastic life of exploration into the ancient Vedic teachings.
Over the last fifteen years, Sutapa has undertaken an in-depth study of ancient Sanskrit texts, particularly the Bhagavad-gita, and has a passion to share the spiritual insights, worldviews, and lifestyles that these books have to offer. His core interest is to present spirituality in a dynamic and relevant way that is accessible to people from all walks of life. Sutapa has lectured at universities across the UK, including UCL, Cambridge, Kings College, LSE and SOAS, and also acts as an active adviser to the community’s youth groups. He is also the author of several books.

Bhakti Charu swami died of Covid in the mid 2020 s.
He was truly humble. I’m not a member of Iskcon and find them to be generally an evangelical extreme religious movement .but so are many Christian sects. Not my cup of tea but there are some who apparently are making great spiritual progress on this path. God bless them. May they all soften and becoming more tolerant .
Without seeing Him i heard Guru Maharaj on my computer singing mantra , Haribol, HARIBOL, Haribol, and i was in my own house at that time cooking and i had to cry but i am also a crying baby All the time searching for a mother or father and now i see so much Father 's and Mother's i Love but Bhakti Charu Swami was the first One

Many people devotee themselves to strong leaders. Strong men, father figures, authoritarian leaders is a lack of strong sense of self inside.
Many people surrender to authentic gurus and the way you know they are authentic is they are allowing this initial dependence from the disciple but their intention is to make them emotionally and spiritually self sufficient.
Prabhupad was very sincere but a religious fanatic and misogynistic.he passed on these traits to the leaders of iskcon. .

This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about "spiritual counselor" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Banulian Lonameron Breakthrough - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got excellent success with it.
Community thing is not my thing
No reasons to trust anyone at this moment in my life because i am 15 years a prisoner of the Goverment very tough life

Why these gurus like to stay adorned in huge big flower garlands. Why the need of this?
They don't need, it's a form of gratitude to welcome such a great personality, because they're self realised and they're contributing so much to the people by sharing the knowledge.
They don’t need flower males. The students and disciples like to honor them. It’s a nice tradition
Cover up gurus. Bhakti Charu knew about the poisoning of Srila Prabhupada when it was happening and said nothing to save his life. He is great a covering up the truth.
