Hey guys there was a major glitch so I had to pull this video and reupload it. Please consider leaving a thumbs up so we can hopefully get it out there!
My family is from there and lenoir city. Still live there. It is really a good place. They have a duck pond there that everyone goes fishing at. I did when I was a kid. Great memories.
I currently reside in Lenoir City, Tn. I've always lived in East Tennessee. Most everyone here are friendly and we definitely have beautiful country. I'm proud to be a Volunteer!!!!!
I went to elementary school in Lenoir City! Highland Park Elementary. That was in 1972 to 1979!! LOL! My family moved from there when I was 12. I haven't been there since then. This has really brought back some memories.
@@llLavenderll I wonder how much it has changed? I rem that school being very structured but yet the teachers were nice and somewhat laid back. No one seemed stress out like we see today in most schools. I liked going there. Back then there weren't a lot of fights and bad things that happen like we see now in school.
@@lynny5510 it was alright they took out the beanstock and added a whole wing to the school bec for a while 2 second grade classrooms were in a trailer outside and after i left they added a whole i think another playground?
@@lynny5510 im not so shure if it was the best of schools though although never any fights and i had strait As when i moved to loudon for 5th i didnt know anything we had just finished on how to multiply and just started to learn how to divide and loudon was already done working on fluency!
OH! Interesting tidbit, the liquor and wine store downtown used to be the post office when I was little! The floor still creaks the way it did when my mother and I used to go in there to get stamps and send off mail. Ok, now I'm getting really homesick.
I was just telling my daughters ( growen) about this w thank yrip I'm so happy you brought it back. They live in N.E. Ga. Kids my Rock mountain!!!! I have wonderful Vks
Thank you for showing me my birth town . It housed my beautiful grandparents and if you had met them you’d be so happy and loved . I only been here twice when I was first born until o was 4 years old and again at 17 for a brief moment. I still remember the duck pond I ran around in as a child . Thank you
Beautiful small town. We had an old closed down theater until that store it down to build a new court house with much more parking space. That town reminds me of Moulton, AL. with all those little shops. Thanks Jon for taking us on the road trip.
I grew up in loudon. Graduated from Loudon High school class of 2004. It sure has changed a lot over the years. That old water tower used to be so rusted out it looked like it could have fallen over at any moment. And yes, that building was the courthouse.
Hey Jon-Great video! Really enjoyed it! Can't wait to eat at Carl's Drive-Inn! Loved the old theatre along with it's brick work! Definitely worth traveling there! Hope to see you this year Jon! Have a great one!
Thanks Jon for taking us along with you ❤ on these adventures for the day trips!! It is truly a great step back in time & probably for most a chance for reminiscing! Love the theater and the fountain too! Again thanks 😊 for sharing ❤ your Sunday drive!!
Jon & Heather thank you so much! Thats a beautiful little town and has actually lots to do really. Loved that theater. You two are so cute together! Thanks for the video, can't wait for next adventure. Love this channel
Another banger of an o.t.t. video. I'm digging them. They're very relaxing to watch. Thanks for starting up this series, again. Stay safe, be good, y'all! 😎👍
There's a nice swimming pool, dog park and recreational park in Loudon also. If you like trains Jon, I think the city of Sweetwater is fixing up the inside of the train car they have in downtown Sweetwater if you ever want to visit that when it's fixed up.
Aloha! What a cute little town! See, this makes me nostalgic of when we lived on the mainland, you can jump in your car, & go(for how many days off you have). In Hawaii, you can jump in your car & drive maybe 50-60 miles(and thats IT)! Not complaining, just born & raised on a tiny island in the Pacific 🏝.
TicToc's makes all their ice cream right there in the shop and hold up I know you did not just compare a Carl's burger to a big mac. Shame shame is your name and everybody knows it!

That looks like a sweet little town to visit. It would take more than one tank of gas for me to get there from Fresno California though!
