I think the reason that you might be having a alignment problem is because of the thighs. If you pull on the leg in robot mode there is a sliding joint in the thigh that allows the robot to be taller. There's more about it on the nero thread of TFW 2005
Only Unique Toys can pull off designs like this. I like the figure but I hate to pay so much for the character.
We can wait for Black mamba's take on that Galvatron, like their TLK Megs

@@thelonecommentor4175 I don't know the full story, but apparently after they finished making the Galvatron figure, they made an announcement that it would be their last figure.
They're back now and are in production stages of a dark of the moon Megatron
@@TheLast_Knight I doubt it once the rise of the beast movie comes out they'll be back to work, they are prob just saying they aren't making more to sell more products cuz I seen a lot of their figures on aliexpress still
The back of the cab mode may not be super clean, but the fact they managed to get this thing to transform at all is amazing.
Great news about the 4th party head! They really dropped the ball on Dragoon and Nero face sculpt wise, I don't think their designers have much experience with 'organic' sculpts but are brilliant engineers as opposed to artists. Cheers for the review, can you please update us on the head?

Any news on a 4th party head? Got the figure and love it but would like a more accurate head if available.
I don't know but 2007 Megatron always look intimidating compared to his other Michael Bay's movie counterpart.

I just got him and I was scared to transform him because of the tight joints but even just looking at him and posing him gives the same joy

Is it just me, or does it feel kinda dirty to call these knock offs after the recent Hasbro/Takara releases?
Yeah, this is an original product, not a knock off
no matter how bad hastak product, there is always butt licker who just buy their products (speak from experience)..so unless we manage to drive hastak to almost bankruptcy, third party is always being labelled knock off
Can't call it a knock off if it has no original product made by Has/Tak in the first place.
I just call them 3rd Party, since they're not really knockoffs of any official products.
The real knockoffs are the oversized versions of existing toys and slightly repainted and recolored ones.
It’s a third party figure. Engineering wise it’s a completely original product and can’t by definition be labeled a “knock off.”

Imagine being able to get Lenard Nemoy to voice the villain of Transformers 3 only to have Galvatron as a villain in Transformers 4.
got my copy on Wednesday. Right horn was broken off from the peg. Same issue with the ankle joints forward ans back movement. pegging the arms in above the joint when transforming him to vehicle mode was terrifying thought i was going to break it.
Here is my UniqueToys Transformers wish list:
1. Peterbilt 379 Optimus Prime (Transformers 2007, Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon).
2. Bumblebee Movie Volkswagen Beetle Bumblebee.
3. Cybertronian Jet Megatron (Transformers 2007).
4. Cybertronian Tank Megatron (Revenge of the Fallen).
5. Mack M915 Line-Haul Truck Megatron (Dark of the Moon).
And 6. Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime.
Don't worry to much about the size in comparison to other megs, In the movie he is 30 feet tall (Yes, he lose like 6 feet)
Yup, TLK Megatron is also 30ft tall. So Unique Toys-R-04 Nero is 4cm shorter than BS-02 TLK Megatron which 31cm tall and UT is 27cm tall. 2nd I wish UT do better on painting and improve details on the alt mode.

@@TheBatman39 I think he was trying to say he doesn't need to worry about scale since Galvatron isn't that much bigger than Prime compared to how massive he used to be in TF1.
The company that made the 4th party Dragoon seems to KO all the new Unique Toys figures. So mabye wait for that?

That company isn’t known for great quality. It’s KO dragoon was lower quality in most aspects and probably will be here as well.
Why does everybody hate Galvatron? He was absolutely awesome! Obviously, I would've loved to see more of him, but that was purely because of TLK

Unique Toys Galvatron suppose to be same height as BS-02. I'll wait 4th party KO UT Galvatron for better repaint and taller height.
Technically Galvatron is the same height as Prime in AOE. So this figure scales perfectly with their Prime. They just messed up the scale with their Dragoon
@@patrickgancarczyk6199 I was talking about KO Dragoon not the official one. Galvatron is 30 feet tall and prime is 28'. Both official Unique Toys Optimus and Galvatron is a bit too short. BMB is starting making KO taller version of UT Optimus Prime to match BS-02 accurate scale.
@@King_AncalagonGalvatron isn’t 30 ft. He is about the same size as Optimus in AOE. This, he is the same size as Optimus, since that was the intention of Galvatron in the first place. To be like Optimus Prime. The best scale is with the original Challenger. But let’s play devils advocate here. Even if Galvatron is 30 ft, BS-02 is still too tall for him. They would have to make a KO for Nero in order for him to scale properly with BS-02 and the unreleased OS KO Challenger
My 29cm Black Apple Optimus is better scale than UT Challenger for MPM accurate toys scale. Even with 1+cm taller than the screen accurate one (28ft) and same with my LT-01 Bumblebee at 17cm.
Yes UT Challenger and Nero are properly scale for each other but both are not accurate mpm scale.

Just got mine today! Fortunately, it appears the ankle joints on my copy seem to be a bit stiffer than the ones in the video, and my guy stays balanced in the right position pretty easily. I have not transformed him yet. I will probably wait a while before I convert him to a truck, he just looks so good in his bot mode. Unique Toys really nailed it. Hope they return to the scene soon (albeit as a new company).
Since you have ordered from iacon store, how long did it take to deliver to yu?
Try and rotate the body out first then form the front so all the pieces have spase to move
I'm reading many reports of the figure coming with a broken horn.. Kinda making me not want to get it because of that 🤔
The horns pop off easily (not break outright), but its easily fixed with superglue

Ben, it seems the reason the face looks odd is because it looks tiny and he has a 5head.

Why are you sending Challenger to a patron? You don't want him? IMO one of the best Optimus Prime figures and my absolute favourite.
I sold mine to them at mate rates … I sell figures to buy more and refine my collection.

Why is this figure in your KO channel? I thought this was an original design by unique toys.

Cool looking figure, but easy pass for me. The problems with it, plus the fact he was a pretty useless character, for the price, I am fine without it. thank-you, as always Ben, for the review.
