I love the way you talk about your art! It reminds me of my sweet Aunt Sue. She was the artist in our family. I love the thickness of your paint. So when I am able to purchase supplies again, I'll be buying them!
I wish my art teacher when I was at school was like Dina. My art teacher made me so scared to ever pick up a paint brush until years later. Dina is so encouraging and positive. She's great.
Such an amazing teacher! Had me painting birds in class when I honestly didn't think I could. I must learn how to paint faces, and am sure she would be the teacher to teach mem.
i wonder who told her not to put water in acrylic? Acrylic is water media. So that advice is nonsense. And of course, you prime your page with gesso. Painters paint on primed canvas or wooden panel. So if your surfaceis paper, you are best adviced to have it primed. Gesso is basically a primer. This prevents the paint absorbed by the surface.
