Question Ya Sheik: Is Zakat due on Total Gross Income, Adjusted Gross Income or Taxable Income? How about missed Zakat on past income? Is there a statute of limitation on how far back the audit should go? Is the tax (federal or stare) paid to govt considered part of the 2.5% income? Does one have to pay Zakat on Cash saved over the years or just the earned Income (like federal and state Taxes do it)? Question: what should one do with Interest that is earned on savings? Can it be used for good deeds (Sadaqa) or should it be returned to Bankers to buy do more evil with (lol)? How should one make-up missed past Fard prayers between age of maturity and death? I feel those communities are over stretching themselves and then end up over building unsustainable palaces (if govts do it I can see why because they have big budgets and cash so don't need to take out mortgages). Thoughts on musjid being built grand and on mortgages?

As for the one whom deliberately missed the prayer and he did not perform it upon its specified time as Mentioned by Allāh in Sūrah An-Nisā: 103; then he has committed a major sin and he can not perform them again, it will not be held valid. This view is held by Sheikh Ul-Islām ibn Taymīyyah as he has mentioned in Al-Ikhtiyārāt that the prayer is not valid and one should perform voluntary prayers a lot. This view was also held by Sheikh ibn Uthaymīn. However, as for the one who has a legal excuse such as having overslept and the time of the prayer being missed due to it, or being unaware that the time of the prayer has come and due his genuine ignorance, he misses the time of the prayer; such can perform the prayer, even if the specified time has passed away. The Dalīl (proof) for the aforementioned conditions is derived from the Hadīth in Sahīh Al-Muslim, reported by Anas bin Mālik that the Prophet of Allāh ﷺ said, "Whoever forgets a prayer and sleeps and misses it, its expiation is to make it up as soon as he remembers it." Another Hadīth in Sahīh Al-Muslim states that when the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and the Sahāba missed the prayer by oversleeping due to being exhausted in Jihād, the Prophet of Allāh ﷺ said, "Sleeping does not means that you are neglecting the prayer. Rather, neglecting the prayer means not praying one prayer until the time for the next prayer comes. Whoever does that, let him pray when he remembers it." Allāhu Wā'lam. Allāh Knows and I know not; I advise you to seek a Fatwā of a trusted scholar. May Allāh Keep us steadfast upon His religion. Amīn.

Al-Rawd would definitely be on the curriculum as an upper-intermediate/ pre-advance Hanbali Fiqh text. شرح منتهى and كشاف القناع are advance level. شرح منتهى can be realistically taught in a curriculum at an advanced stage but كشاف القناع cannot practically be taught as it's too voluminous - but a vital reference work at the advance level.

Al-Mughni and Al-Kashhāf serve different purposes. Al-Mughni is basically an encyclopedia of comparative Fiqh - obviously with a Hanbalī-leaning. Whereas Kashhāf is a detailed reference for anyone wanting to understand the relied upon position (Mu'tamad) in the Hanbali Madhhab. Note also that Al-Mughni was written by Ibn Qudama - who was from the middle-phase (mutawassiteen) of the development of the Madhhab. In this phasez the focus was not really on establishing the relied upon position of the Madhhab. Al-Kashhāf was written by Al-Buhooti who was from the latter-phase (Muta-akhhireen) - by which time the Hanbalī scholars had settled on the relied upon positions of the Madhhab.
Sheikh what is inside mughni because it is a hanbali fiqh book but apparently it brings different opinions of different madhabs as well as evidence (correct if I’m wrong) what is inside mughni

Sheikh i want a clarification, i follow shafi madhab from kerala , south India(remember the indian king)in this madhab i was thought that before fatiha u can say the following which u didn't mention " vajjahatu vajihiya lillazi fatharasammavathi val ardha haneefan musliman .........." is it still correct ? Even though it is in sunan an nasa'i 2:898
i remember Sheikh Assimal saying its usually said in the Night prayers like Magreeb and Ishaa, however theres no harm or sin if you say it during the other times as well..its called the Iftitah

Sheikh what is inside mughni because it is a hanbali fiqh book but apparently it brings different opinions of different madhabs as well as evidence (correct if I’m wrong) what is inside mughni

وسوف تتم الملاحقة القانونية بعد اجراء كامل التحقيقات لمن قام بتزوير الشعار ووضعه على الكتب المزورة التي ليست من اصداراتنا مستغلين شهرة الدار والثقة بها وكثرة الطلب لمطبوعاتها بفضل الله تعالى وبخاصة بعد ان تكرر الفعل لمرات عدة وبصور مختلفة ومن دول متعددة .
اما منع الكتاب من التداول فهذا عائد لوزارة العدل وفقها الله ووفق القائمين عليها لكل خير.

Very important notice on this print! بارك الله فيك. I hope the Shaykh is aware of this issue. It's a tough one because the Judiciary are not printing any more copies while it's an extremely important work for anyone wanting to understand the Mu'tamad positions of the Hanbali Madhhab. But we should at least be honest about the illegal copying and publishing that has gone on here with this print.

Can you please mention the prices of the books too.I watched your video about Tafseer As Said and I wanted to buy it. But when I saw the price I almost got a heart attack.
@Ahmad El Masri In my country it's $235 and an average person's monthly income is $350-550. On top of that I'm a student. So, it's pretty expensive for me.

Sheikh i want a clarification, i follow shafi madhab from kerala , south India(remember the indian king)in this madhab i was thought that before fatiha u can say the following which u didn't mention " vajjahatu vajihiya lillazi fatharasammavathi val ardha haneefan musliman .........." is it still correct ? Even though it is in sunan an nasa'i 2:898
i remember Sheikh Assimal saying its usually said in the Night prayers like Magreeb and Ishaa, however theres no harm or sin if you say it during the other times as well..its called the Iftitah

Was Torah,injeel (which you says are corrupted,but may can contain some word and it’s okey I can accept it)
