I was just browsing through ABBA songs and your “Dancing Queen” popped up. Very cool grooved, there are hardly any tom brakes in it but still a very nice cover with a very fat sound. Great job Earl.🥁🥁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I've commented before about how much I enjoy the variety of your covers. I just went from watching you play Van Halen Mean Streat (killer roto toms btw) to ABBA. This is great!
Thank you for watching! I have a lot of variety! And videos ... I have playlists with songs from certain artists too. But I'm really just a rock drummer. :)
Hi Earl, enjoyed the drum playing. At the end of the song (when the music stopped), I liked the groove and was hoping you would play longer of that groove solo. Thanks, Allan
DrummerHawk777 ... thanks for watching! I do that spontaneously! Anyhow that must have been as good as that flurry was or I would have kept more! I don’t always do that only if I’m really in it! Thanks again
I was in Stockholm last year and we were at the ABBA museum but we didn't take the tour though!! Really well played Earl sounds great and it is true what you wrote about no machines being used back then just real people and instruments!!

Hi Roger, no I was not reading music, but I can if there is a chart. I do write charts for certain gigs, almost never for a drum cover. I don’t write/transcribe music note for note ever. It’s not my thing, but I try to get close to the part, but not exact. I play by memory and use my ears! I hope this helps.

Real people and instrument's, those were the days!
Awesome. Great tune. Killer bass line too. You should do "CHIC - Le Freak" next. Tony Thompson was a funky drummer.
Jon McFerson ... thanks Jon! I’ll put it on my growing list!
Such a great cover!! Awesome 🙂
Ashley Galvan Music ... thank you Ashley! 🙏🏻👍🏻😀
Nice rendition there Earl! You really nailed the sound as well. Greetings from Sweden. 🇸🇪🙂
Thanks Claes! Coming from you from the land of ABBA!
Thnk you for no extra improvisation.. Origal is the best 👍💯
Mr. Trump ... your welcome! 👍🏻
I love ABBA and you played it really well!!! Man, you’re really a great versatile drummer...I’m beginning to think you can do almost anything! Wow
Michael Perry ... playing everything was my goal, but I know my limitations these days. I grew up playing disco in the late 70s. Thanks for watching

Ooh
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Digging the dancing queen
Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for a place to go
Where they play the right music
Getting in the swing
You come to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music's high
With a bit of rock music
Everything is fine
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance
You are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Digging the dancing queen
You're a teaser, you turn 'em on
Leave 'em burning and then you're gone
Looking out for another
Anyone will do
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance
You are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance

Thanks for watching! 🎶🎶🎶🎶😎👍
Nice and tight cover, good job 👍
Thanks for the feedback my friend!
A proper cover. So many others add fills, 16 beat the hi-hat and attempt to follow the bass guitar with the kick, which is not accurate.
Thanks for the feedback my friend! I try to keep it close, but I have my moments of dropping in a little bit of me! 🙏🏻😎👍🏻
Very good job👍
Thanks for watching my friend! 👍🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻😎
How do you like the 15" Giant Beat hats? Is the top hat really thin?
Jon McFerson ... I love them 950g/1274g ... they are a medium weight hi hats. They sound great to my ears.
@@earldrum Thank you!
Hello again Earl.......are you reading the music for this......I notice you looking to your left a lot.If so ,do you transcibe .
Hi Roger, no I was not reading music, but I can if there is a chart. I do write charts for certain gigs, almost never for a drum cover. I don’t write/transcribe music note for note ever. Where did you get the drumless-cover?
Thanks for watching Herbert! I make them myself using program called Moises. I hope this helps.
Beautiful with no unnecessary fills!
Thanks for the feedback Edmen!
