Winglets are the dumbest thing for a roll racer. They are perfect for track guys who want corner exit stability. Thats added downforce. Downfornce = Weight.
R1 is such a gorgeous bike. As do most of yamaha bikes. The S1000 looks good to but there is just something bout the R1. Think only the V4S/V4R rivals it in looks. If they brought back the undertail exhaust it be perfect. Hopin to pick mine up in the spring. Been saving for a year for it.
@Reaper 1k The magnesium wheels from Yamaha are not much heavier than carbon fiber. So you may already have the lightest wheels for your R1 unless you get carbon. There is a video out there comparing the wheels. You can save the money and get ceramic bearings. You may already know all of this but figured I would share.
