Saturn in lagna in a friendly sign ( as indicated by permanent + temporary relationship ) opposite Sun also in a friendly sign forget their enemity and cooperate as per the Paraspara Karaka principle of BPHS ( the naturally inimical planets should be in kendra from lagna and aspecting each other ). Hence Sun will give light to Saturn in this case. Example, Meena lagna, Saturn in lagna, Guru in 2nd ( which makes Saturn a permanant neutral + temporary friend of Guru ), Sun in Kanya. what if the MKS planet is exalted or in own house/mooltrikona in the D9?
