Nice great video. I have questions on the 4 wire RTD, can it be used as a 2 output of temperature reading to feed into a separate system?

On a four wire if I wanted it to read lower temperature which wires would I add a resistor too

Hi, for a test lab I'm looking for measurement equipment and sensor (rtd) to have +/-0.06 celsius degree accuracy, can you recommend to me a brand or company can offer this kind of equipment?

What do the two colours (red and white) represent?

Hi. All of the wires are 24AWG copper wire. The white wire is welded to one side of the RTD, the red wire(s) are attached to the other side. The two red wires are the same color so that you know they are attached to the same side. The second red wire is redundant, it's function is to measure the amount of resistance the wire itself is adding to the assembly. That "extra" resistance of the wire can then be removed by the transmitter or other device you hook the RTD up to. Leaving you with only the resistance of the RTD itself.

Is the saying, 2 hots and 1 common or 2 commons and 1 hot wire. Or does that even make sense?
