this dead area once used to be the buzzying uber vibrant tourist area of Limassol. 1980-1995. Every building was tourist accommodation and every commercial shop was a bar- disco, fastfoor or souvenir shop. Ayia napa was nothing in front of Limassol then. Politics destroyed tourism in Limassol.. and the building of the road as construction affected limassol beach road for yrs

Used to love staying in that area, even been in the police station once or twice (for good reasons) 😁 galatex us looking a bit tired last time I popped by, used to be so nice n clean and fresh but the area is getting like Limassol and even worse Amathus for building everywhere (was such a lovely original real area once) ah well that's progress for you ☹️.
I see you have them e-scooter clowns as well 😂

Unfortunately, you’re right! Many areas in Limassol are not tidy last years☹️ I hope the government will fix the problems. We’ll see.
