Thankyou so much for another excellent tutorial. My nieces love these tops, & I think that they will be able to make them by themselves with this video!
❤❤❤ Wow!!! Awesome project!! Going on a Caribbean cruise in December and I'm getting yarn to have this ready for the trip. Making 2 or 3. Thank you so much for teaching us how to do beautiful clothes!!!!❤❤❤❤
Now that the weather is changing will you be doing tops that are appropriate to the weather? I love all of your videos and tutorials. I know I can wear these under a cardigan but I'm anxiously awaiting some cold weather tops. That was like forever long of a question that I turned into a idk. Lol. Have a fun day!!
Hi, I’m 54yrs old & just learned to crochet 🎉 I’ve made a beanie, a couple granny squares, started some hearts for granny squares, & decided I can tackle a halter top for my 22 yr old daughter, 😮 I made a couple mistakes but fixed them as best I could, lol. I have a question, I’m about to crochet the straps & since we keep turning our work, how do I know what the front part is. They kinda look the same. 😂😂 TIA p.s. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! ❤
I love this top and have already made one for myself but I wanted to make one for my cousin and she is a size small so i was wondering what you recommend for that doing fewer chains and fewer rows?? thank you so much
@@PassioKnitKelsiethank you! i’ve never crocheted anything before so i’d like to work my way up to tops and things. i’ve heard that granny squares are the best things to make for your first crochet project but i’ve also heard that you should start with other things. what would you say?
@@ducklover143try learning how to do the basic steps first, like the stitches (chains, single crochet..) and then you can move on and do something bigger 😊 I personally think that granny squares are hard for begginers, reallyyyy, so you should try an easiest top first
Hi so excited to make this! I have a 3.5 and 4.5 mm crochet hook would that make a big difference in my project? Debating if I can go ahead and start or if I should hold off until I get the proper size hook lol
Can I do this with single crochet instead so it’s a little thicker? Would it work if I just double the rows (2 x 2inc rows, 2 x 3inc, 2 x 2inc rows, and so on)?
@@PassioKnitKelsie yes I mean though I get confused when people tell you when you make your chain. Turn your work then skip a stitch. Is that what you’re supposed to do? Idk if this even makes sense haha. I may just find your most basic video and try learning from you. I think what I learned is wrong
@@PassioKnitKelsie also the first stitch is literally the first chain you made isn’t that correct? And it’s the whole “v” so like both of the strings and you don’t just go into one at a time? The last one is the last chain you make?
I'm making it right now. It's currently 2:18 am where I live and I should REALLY sleep... but I'm crocheting a top.
This Is me. 😅😅😂😂

I haven't watched the video yet (I will), but not me definitely reading it as basic HATER top and being like, yeah, i'd buy that
Oh my I’m so excited to make this for my daughter 🥰🌺 TFS

I'm going to do this 😁 but, crochet 🧶 into a halter dress for an elderly neighbor doll.❤❤

what would you say is the best thing to crochet for beginners?
I’d say it will be easy for beginners but maybe not the best thing
@@PassioKnitKelsiethank you! i’ve never crocheted anything before so i’d like to work my way up to tops and things. i’ve heard that granny squares are the best things to make for your first crochet project but i’ve also heard that you should start with other things. what would you say?

Hi so excited to make this! I have a 3.5 and 4.5 mm crochet hook would that make a big difference in my project? Debating if I can go ahead and start or if I should hold off until I get the proper size hook lol
Since it's made the measure and there's no gauge you should be able to use any hook it will just make the stiches tighter or looser
Can you make a video on how you determine the measurements for making tops in different sizes!?
Like for other people bc I’m so stuck and I want to make clothes for other people without having to physically measure them.
Hello can you make a new version of Serena Top?
Can I do this with single crochet instead so it’s a little thicker? Would it work if I just double the rows (2 x 2inc rows, 2 x 3inc, 2 x 2inc rows, and so on)?
Single crochet works fine with just 2inc rows
@@PassioKnitKelsie thank you ❤️
You could also do a linked double crochet if you want the height of the double crochet, but like the less-holey-ness of single crochet.
Can I use weight 1 yarn for this??
can i use 3mm hook?
I'm well breasted and I followed your instructions but it doesn't fit me😢
how many grams did she use?
❤❤❤
how many grams will this take?
i mean yards
do i need 3 120 yard balls?
Is there a way to make it a full back?
Make a back panel starting with a wider chain, then join both panels on the sides instead of the middle back.
Does someone knows why my double crochets leave big "holes" so it's kinda see thru ? :v
Me to!! And I sized down )):
@@shelbyhughart1517 i sewed a coton jersey patch inside so i could wear it otherwise it would show everything x)
May i know the hook’s number or size?
4mm, she says it in the beginning
I’m having a hard time seeing what is my first stitch and last stitches. 😭
Put a stitch marker at the beginning and end of your row

Or do you make your chain then just start working into your top loops without chaining and skipping a stitch.
