This is probably the most ive watched his content since before we knew what he looked like lol I see people talking about a weed shop game n im about to go find it 😂
Funniest thing to find out while playing the game is that stock variety doesn't matter and tables negatively impact your profit because anyone sitting at them counts towards the customer total (which means half your store is now permanently stuck in a corner, buying nothing and only giving you a few bucks an hour) so the fastest way to level up and make money is to just have one guy perpetually stocking a single shelf of the same exact card packs all priced below market rate around $5 or $10 as you man the register stationed 2ft from the shelf. They walk in, go straight to the only shelf, and then turn right around and make a purchase.
which is why he wasn't struggling at first. but then he got two employees that both cost money and started opening packs , completely ignoring the rest of the shop/game, devolving into caveman card pack addiction
@@ingo505 I agree that it's kinda pointless to optimize it that hard, but the tables are actual dogshit at the moment and will immediately turn it into an idle game. I can't recommend using tables even for the atmosphere.
Over-optimization can sometimes take the fun out of games like this. It's like Roller Coaster Tycoon: sure the most optimal way to get loads of cash and get loads of guests is to build a ton of ultra cheap micro-coasters that consist of a couple track pieces, but part of the fun is building a sick theme park. Much like this game, where part of the fun is building a sick true to life card shop Not that playing a min-max run of a game isn't a fun time too, but I usually like to do stuff like that *after* the first casual fun playthrough if I really enjoyed the game
Hearing the boss go from "We're financially ruined, I'm never gonna recover from this" to "We're so fuckin' back!" every ten minutes while opening packs, probably put a damper on Zack and Terrence's motivation.
Charlie saying that nobody would buy the stuff from the work bench and then noticing 2 seconds later both of the packs he made there are gone, just to see some guy checking out with both of them was some actual comedy routine shit
