Andy is my dad’s neighbor 😢 Linda’s house was across the street from my dad’s house. We still don’t know if it’s still standing or not. We have been there since 1986………this breaks our hearts.

People take their pets, and do try to take their large animals if they have time. If not they release them to get away. But in many cases as with the East Troublesome fire, there is barely time to make it out with their lives because the fire moves so fast. In the case of the Black Forest Fire, people were at work when the fire broke out and were not allowed in to certain areas get their animals. They do what they can.
Some people aren't home when fires start. It could be that the fire could have come up so quick that they had no time to get their animals out. It takes time to hook up a trailer and load your animals into it. Often times there's no time. So you up fences so they can get out and hope they escape the fire vs being stuck and possibly dying from burns or smoke inhalation. Don't judge if you have never been put into this situation.
He's no hero! Everybody wants their home and property to be safe, geez! I hope it doesn't come to a point where he needs help and puts those who are trained and equipped to fight these beasts of wildfires at risk. He is a danger to them pure and simple. His ego is off the charts. 😠
@@jennifermackenzie7309 Ours is on palisade mt road. So right where they are saying they lost structures. I’ve tried messaging Andy on a few accounts to see. I’m debating heading up there if I’m somehow able to get there. I hope your place makes it! if I make contact with anyone up there I will let you know

If they weren't home when evacuations were ordered, many times they wont let anyone back in. So calm down.
