it's not water but vinegar and try to keep it for more than 5 hours
In viniger,it takes 12 hours and the prepared skin should be treated by rubbing glycerine once in a week for long life.
Eggs are cheap and vinegar also
So find out yourself if you really want to do

Just grab an egg then poke 2 holes one on the top and one on the bottom, then blow through one of the holes and empty the egg into a glass then use another glass and place the egg in there and pour vinegar into the glass with the egg. Let it sit for 5 hours or more and carefully peel the shell off the egg it should look kinda baggy :)

99% of magicians would have never becomes magicians if no one ever revealed a trick. Most magicians don't create the tricks they perform, even david blaine performs someone else's tricks.
