Semana Santa Larantuka Cinematic Travel Video

Semana Santa or Hari Bae is a ritual celebrating Easter Holy Week which is carried out for seven consecutive days by Catholics in Larantuka, East Flores. The word semana santa comes from the Portuguese semana which means "week" or "week" and santa which means "holy". Overall, semana santa means the holy week starting from Palm Sunday, Betrayal Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday until the celebration of Hallelujah Sunday or Easter Sunday. Semana Santa is an icon of East Flores and is a special attraction, both for pilgrims and tourists. Apart from stimulating the economy and tourism, this tradition is also a form of tolerance between religious communities in East Flores.
