Just stay in the market is the Guru mantra for compounding. I have started investing since 2008.
And what is tour compounding return in % .

Dear Mr Alokjee we are getting more and more confidence daily by listening to your UA-cam message , not only in markets but also in the way of whole life. Your contribution is EXCELLENT. I have no words to Thankyou.
So nice of you. All the best
Agreed buffet cagr was only 11.5% during his 60 to 90 yrs age.
But his cagr was 28% during his 40 to 60 yrs age !!!
ya. american mkts were good in 80s
Hello sir , It's a refreshment after I come back from office and watch your videos... it's never been boring....your videos are example how education video can also be a refreshment....Just out of curiosity , asking that how we can get previous 20 years fundamental data of all the stocks (like revenue, profit, Debt to Equity ratio, ROCE , operating cash flow etc.) .. it will be helpful for retail investors also, then they will be able to do their own thesis back testing ..as far I know this is public data..but not sure where it's available.
CMIE databases probably
Thank you sir for guidance
Excellent Channel. Recently started watching it. I liked it very much. Lot of useful insights.
Welcome aboard!
Saved the video and shared with my children.
Excellent
Stay invested, let the money compound
Yup
Power of compounding 📈 Very good information Alokji, Thank you..
Always welcome
was just watching yesterday your 100cr 1-2 YO vid..u also liked it..and u also shared your post in it of twitter saying ..we shall also enjoy life along with the process of wealth creation and that was such lovely message that we dont get lost only and make life boring in the process
Also portfolio allocation is important.
If I have 100 rs and can invest only 50 rs and gets a phenomenal 20% return on it. Still my portfolio is growing 13% in a Bull Market.
Becuase rest money is anyway locked in 6% FD.
Better is stay invested with significant capital, even 10% return is good then.
Ya
Warren Buffet believes in the principle of holding a stock for a long term and bulding wealth over time. Since we are following momentum Investing, how does his principle apply to us?
If you can get decent cagr how does it matter
Hi, i used to follow regularly ur twitter handle for quite some time and lucky to find you in UA-cam. Lot of insights from ur videos and thanks for sharing ur wisdom with us. - Gokulnath Sundaram
So nice of you.

Thanks and welcome
If you look at the compounding from age 30 to 52, his net worth has jumped 376x. That compounding is around 30% pre-tax for 22 years. That's where the magic happened. Comparing his current performance where he's managing such a huge corpus for last 20 years is not a fair comparison with our few lakhs of investments. Look at what he did with lower quantum of capital. That should be the ideal benchmark for our capital size.
Even in his shareholder meetings, he has said that if he had to start over with a capital of $1M, he would be able to make around 40-50% returns for a decade before his returns would come down to sub 30% range since the capital would again become very large to keep outperforming at such huge margin.
Ok. But if one can do what he did in last 30 with lesser capital that is nuf money
Yes, but the golden question's answer: Can you beat Warren Buffet? No. 😂
Very insightful and informative, keep it going to educate innocent investors.
We always hear Berkshire has a big pile of CASH. What is his average CASH allocation over the years? What are your thoughts on how CASH can be withdrawn and deployed strategically?
Everybody has own strategy. Despite so much cash he beats mkts
If we have to stay in the market and benefit from the power of compounding please tell us 10-20 such stocks in which we can invest and stay for long period maybe 20-30 years

Thank you for this kind of insight..It definitely increases confidence regarding long term investing 😊
My pleasure!
I have a question regarding Warren Buffet’s compounding. Would you say that much of what he was able to achieve may also be attributed to the conducive US market where he operates ? Could he replicate the same level of compounding in a European or Japanese market if he was in Europe or Japan?
Yes. Lot of luck also thrown in
Fully Endorse.. Just stay invested see your Money Compound
Ya
Carl Icahn has had a higher annual rate of return than Buffett over certain periods. But Buffet´s consistency in staying invested is what out performed all other investors. Consistency and learning from mistakes are crucial elements.
Ya
Sir... Your videos are very informative n you are revealing all the secrets of the market in a simple fashion. I love watching your videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You are on a rocket to teach the audience about the market. Very few who are highly experienced in the market share secrets. I hope you get lots of audience. Maximum audience can be made during bull market and once bear market everyone stops watching videos on youtube. Actually UA-cam is one of the main factor for bull rally by retailers. Once the views on UA-cam starts decreasing.. is also a sign that market is topped.😊
So nice
Can pure manufacturing company's share give return like bajaj fin or Asian paints in longer period of time ? So far i hv seen this in the cases of service or branding related stocks. Of course there is Bosch.
Why not
Phase shifting is a new thing a I learned today 😊 thanks
Yes!!
Wisdom !!!! Pure wisdom as always.thx.

Right, patience, patience and patience.
Wouldn't a reduction in corporate tax increase profits from here on, which will reflect further in future revenues?
Corp tax is not reducing
Just see initial decades he had very high cagr . If you observe ace investers , this is very common that they all made magical cagr when they were young. If we are not able to make high cagr in early decades then It would be impossible to create huge wealth by the time we would reach 50 or 60 . So should we not focus on high return ?
Can do but it is not necessary condition
@@AlokJain Hello sir . What's your thought about prefencial allotment strategy, shadow the promotor strategy, magic formula, losers portfolio by damodaran ? Can these strategies be converted into smallcase portfolio ? I came to know in Shankar nath's videos on these strategies.
seems error in calculation, 5k is 50k,6k is 60k,10k is 100k, 20k is 200k, 26k is 260k, 1m is ok, further ok,pls correct me if i am wrong. thanks

Great video as always sir🎉

@ 7:09, and I Repeatedly told that, No matter how excellent analytics are presented to them, that so-called market guru levelled us as "Chartist Bhaiyalog" , "Momentum waley", 'line drawing ( in chart) investor", and so on.....
They are unable to digest the fact that how it could on earth one can made money from stock like NTPC, ONGC, BDL, etc. And blame ( curse) Govt, PM, HM ......
:)
Indian govt will never allow us middleclass to earn such huge wealth even if we stay invested for 100 years...govt will increase tax on every accrued interest may be upto 80%...and we shall be fooled once again by "Modi ki guarantee"😂😂😂
Perhaps
Being an NRI for 12 years in a income tax free country, and then returning back, one thing which I hate the most in India is tweaking policies every year. Budget is a non event in majority of the countries from personal finance point of view. Here it's like managing a house on a tight budget with some aim of winning next elections.
Hence, middle class should stay away from debates betn Modi vs Raga. They are all same. Don't waste time on them, We have to look for adding new methods of earning and saving and investing.
Maybe you need some khatakhat and the double digit inflation that accompanies it. So called “Middle class” Indians need a brush with macro uncertainties to make them realise that they actually are not middle class
fantastic data points and presentation.........

Superb sir, your words are valuable for us.

I was told that people like Warren do always hedge their portfolios and that is their secret to stay invested in the lows. Do you think he made these returns by just staying invested without any kind of protections, if there is some secrets behind this hedging that can be revealed that will be helpful for us.
The secret is also that insurance is a steady business with income stream
Shukra huzur ❤

Hello sir . What's your thought about prefencial allotment strategy, shadow the promotor strategy, magic formula, losers portfolio by damodaran ? Can these strategies be converted into smallcase portfolio ? I came to know in Shankar nath's videos on these strategies.
If can make it work consistently then good
Thank you alok

Dear Sir, recently I have invested in your m20 small case.. during ur 3 years offer.. but your selection of stocks is not matching to my taste .. Also overall charges ( your fees, small case fees zerodha fees and govt taxes) vis a vis my investment exceeds 5%. Is it possible to stop the subscription and get back my money?
Mail karo bhai....yahan kya daal rahe ho
Unsubscribe kro bhai..smlcase me option he..yaha kyu daal rhe ho
Give it a time bro. If you believed in stated strategy and declared philosophy then why doubt stock picks now? That too in a short(as you said recently) time?

You applied for job of Warren Buffet compnay and got rejected why .
Hain!
By the way it's not 109 million it's a 109 Billion and it's not Rupees it's Dollars
Why don't you do a simple calculation how much capital do you need to match Rakesh Jhunjhunwala 50000 CR In 40 years at 25% Lot of money Rakesh Bhaiya made was at zero percent capital gains plus he used a lot of leverage insider trading etc....
Ok
But India has higher inflation so effectively it isn't higher.
Ok
Wait ,wait...I think he made more than 25% in particular decade..roll back in 1980 -85 or around.
Actually since last 20 yrs he made lesser return because of his age concern... I 💬
Does not matter
Actually it's not age.. It's the amount.. With 121 billion dollars he has very very few options left.
Even if he buys 50 small cap companies, only he can use 20% of his wealth.
Beat WB or his returns? :P
U got the idea
Sir why it's called weekend investing on weekdays
Most initial strategies had decisions only near weekend
I hope your Momemtun Investing smallcases run for next 50 years 🙂Then I will be able to beat Warren Buffet :)
For sure
@@AlokJain Requesting you to start a MI product for US market. I believe we can invest in some 50 US stocks through some brokers in India. This will give more diversification to my portfolio. 💼
Buffett reached his first million at the age of 32. I'm 34 and i don't know how many 0's in a million😅
You can still go 500 x from that age
I hate myself for voting for BJP, i lost a lot of my hard earned money via tax for which i am getting very very poor infra
No place for hate for anybody. Life is a struggle everywhere. Even if u did not vote, the outcome wud hv been same
