Obama served two terms already so he can’t serve again and that also means he can’t be a VP, because that could potentially cause him to serve a third time should anything happen and he has reached his two terms.
It would be more possible for Biden to be a VP again as he only served one term as president, but it’s very unlikely as he wouldn’t drop out as president to become VP although he could still be used as council for the next Dem should certain things be needed, just as Obama could be.
