Violin goes crazy though. I like how the music ain’t too intense but you can definitely feel the tension in there.
A land distorted by unnatural means. The remains of the Star Weaver, crashing upon the ground and morphing all life around its epicenter through the metals born of the dormant energy of stars. An abomination, sent down from the starry heavens above, made as its own entity to give rise to the God of Stars once again from his remains.
It's a shame it practically serves no purpose, but it's the most visually appealing and I love the music for everything surrounding it.

So, I'm no music major, but I want to give my analysis of the song, especially in relation to what it's with.
The song starts off quiet, with a percussion rhythm that keeps the song moving along with the piano quietly playing 3 notes. The fact that it's so minimal makes it intriguing and mysterious, slowly drawing you in. Then the real music starts, sprinkling equal helpings of assonance and dissonance, locking you in close, but still making you wary, like one of those magnets with a superconductor, locking you close, but repelling you away at the same time. The heavy beat of the music, hitting hard on the second beat of each measure with its slow tempo keeps the music driving forward, constantly moving albeit at a slow pace.
Like the music, the astral infection both draws you in and pushes you away. It's a beautiful biome, stellar even, and it makes you want to explore it, but it's also very unusual, even compared to other modded biomes. It has a dark background, and it's not originally there, it's something that took over. But it doesn't spread, unlike the other biomes that take over suddenly. So you want to check it out and explore it, but something about it makes you nervous. The enemies are strong comparatively when it first drops. Beatable, but they hit hard, so you're not sure if you should stay. But you see the actual meteor at the source of it and have to check it out. Like the music, it keeps you locked in both curiosity drawing you in and fear driving you away, creating a tense journey forward to figure this new place out.

Astral Underground theme at 2x was fine, but this at 2x is much boppier.
i prefer normal speed. really lets you get the feeling of the astral infection as a whole.

I LOVE this song, not only because it manages to make you FEEL comfortable in an actual hellscape, but it also captures that feeling of "oh shit, I shouldn't be here.", which is the correct response once you get killed by a group of atlas's for stepping one foot into this biome.

@@g13591-z I have a... Rather complicated personal opinion on Dokuro. Even though I really enjoy his contributions to Calamity as an artist, a lot of his actions are honestly really disagreeable and give me a distaste for his channel as a whole. Honestly, the situation with him and his fanbase wouldn't get anywhere near as bad as it did if he had handled it any differently, and he actively dramatized it to make himself look like more of a victim than he actually was. =/

@@mebbletheschmebble7508 Basically he claimed he was being harassed when in actuality he was just getting spam comments in order to make his image more sympathetic to his fanbase. Everyone you see who watches him praises him borderline excessively since he actively bans any community members who criticize him. He's also got some policies I personally disagree with, like demanding for smaller channels to take down videos featuring content he made, even when they're just making edits or extensions and actively credit the original channel. TL;DR, Dokuro actively guilt-trips and undermines his supporters, and people in the Terraria community aren't acknowledging that _nearly_ as much as they should.

The Astral Infection meteor? It spawns as soon as Wall of Flesh is killed, usually on the dungeon side of the world I believe

@@confusedjay717 it is always the dungeon side of the world and it spawns after the Wall of Flesh is defeated. I’ve played Calamity multiple times over and this happened every time.

Good fact this biome was corrupted by an astral meteor when it hits the ground it spreads,i kinda be o bad for this😢, well it spreading so slow it take for 5 weeks to spread the world if you in journey then you turn off the spread it just stay, yharim don't notice the meteor(astral meteor) hits the earth, it was far from galaxy also it a same length that voyager 1 & 2 outside our sphere(universe), one of the meteor goes(GAS GAS GAS) before it hits the earth......leme take a bweak
