దువ్వూడ వాణి గారి interviews మొదటి నించి చూశాను. ఆమె మాటలు ఎలా మారుస్తుందో కనిపిస్తూనే ఉంది. అహం పరిణామం ఇంకోలా ఉండదు. కూతురి మాటలు కూడా వినండి. ఆ మాటలు విన్న తండ్రి హృదయం ఎలా ఉంటుందో ఆలోచించండి.

Ok, I should have watched this earlier. It makes things a lot clearer. There are lots of differences between the couple, and a long and troubled history to this marriage, but right now the only thing Vani wants is for Duvvada to get out of Tekkali. The reason is she thinks Duvvada living openly with Madhuri in Tekkali is damaging to Vani and her daughters. She calls it an "illegal" affair, though the Supreme Court has ruled that adultery is not criminal or illegal. But this is Tekkali, so maybe they did not get the memo yet. The bigger problem is Madhuri, in Vani's words, is some kind of pros*tute or procurer/madam. And that is where the reputational damage comes in. Of course we have no way to tell if that is true because our journalists do not actually investigate - they think their job is done once they have conveyed the words to us. Actually this is an interesting fact about the case - that journalists have chosen to be absolutely silent about Vani's accusations on Madhuri. They don't repeat them, they don't present them for clarification/rebuttals when they talk to Duvvada or Madhuri, and they certainly don't investigate them. I wonder why.
