(Sorry, my availability hasn't been what it was when I started on this project, but in order to get the completed series up to my channel, I'm going to upload the videos and add the notes as soon as I can. Check back later!)
"It's not like I'm going to sit down and turn on the T.V., their stories are worse than mine" XD
Take a moment to appreciate this man. He doesn't need to teach. He doesn't need to really do anything, ever again. But, here he is. So awesome.
39:14 Brandon: "They could've made a great Go Loki movie." Oh boy, 2021 Brandon got a show :p
One of the worlds best teacher
I have a 40 hour job and 3 kids and I write 30 hours per week. To be fair I haven’t watched TV in like 7 years
whait what!? we had home work!?
You were supposed to write 3000 words/week or something
39:40 mark what movie is she talking about? I can't hear her! Can anyone help??
Wreck it Ralph?
I’ve been watching these videos for a while now ... without ever leaving a thank you. That’s pretty sad. All fantastic stuff. Thank you, zmunk!
big thumbs up for the sign language lady!
Yeah! Also, it must have been rather hard to keep up with Brandon, so that’s impressive too.
"Way of Kings has a kick to the face learning curve"
I personally never noticed. It was my first Brandon book ever. I picked it up from the library without even someone recomending it to me.
Just saw the cover and the title and was intrigued. Read it in under a week.
My mother on the other hand tried... "too many spren things and spren thats..." she said and never picked it up again xD
Know your audience kids
Great video as always! But I'm dead over how he eviscerated that one girl right in the beginning of class😂😂 like he was so casual about it but like aired her laundry to the class lmao slay
Loki SEEMED like just a villain in the Avengers, being evil for the sake of being evil. But he did it only to get back at his family. To prove himself worthy in comparison to his brother, who just by being able to wield his hammer, is deemed worthy to everyone. He doesn't mourn his loss over earth. He did think he could be a better ruler over them, but he probably would've moved on somewhere else if Odin didn't stop him eventually.
I think Loki is a little trickier (pun intended) because he's not just a Marvel villain, he's also based on a trickster God who often didn't seem to be viewed as "evil" by the civilization that wrote him into their mythology. He wasn't (usually) seen as bad/evil, he was just trouble.
Can you give more examples of changing a passive to an active voice? And also examples of cutting out to be verbs?
Passive voice is like this:
'The ball was thrown by the girl.'
Active is this:
'The girl threw the ball.'
The actor acts upon the object is how I see active voice.
The object is acted upon by the actor is passive voice.
