I have watched almost all of your videos but you edited this video on another level ... it reflects that you are a true nature & animal lover ..... love you big brother big respect for you 😍😍🥰🥰❤❤❤
Finally it is here my partner loves the sound of Hidizs mp145 but has she issues with the fit ( I know a lot of people would have loved the Mp145 if not because of the fit), I am going to give this on her Birthday . I will remind her to use the silver nozzle . Thanks for a great review my friend . I also intent to support WDC with this purchase
After hearing your previous review of MP145, I have been waiting for a while, and for this time I opted for the super early bird of MP143! Can’t wait for that. Thanks for the recommendation Andy!
as usual thumb up you making such a good video and making awareness of WDC. Kudos. MP143 project in kickstarter also make a remarkable speed to hit the goal under 1 minute.
@j.w.s.743 You are urged to become VEGAN, since carnism (the destructive ideology that supports the use and consumption of animal products, especially for “food”) is arguably the foremost existential crisis.🌱
Awesome review, Andy! I love the way that more and more sets are using tuning nozzles instead of switches. I also love the fact that you talk about the whales and dolphins! You are hands down, my favorite reviewer!
With your intro i started imagining here: Hidizs x AAV Oreo (honoring your cat and part of the iem price goes to a place that take care of the ones on the streets) 😊
Which 'tuning' of the Mp 145 are you referring to? You produced a video that supported a view that hidizs had secretly changed the 'tuning' of the mp 145. How do you know which tuning was used in your initial review? How do you know what 'version' you get if you order them? Is there 12:25 a batch number or release date that indicates the the review version you used? Hidizs asked people to provide frequncy graphs comparing the two versions, but I haven't seen any. You didn't show any, but agreed there was a 'change'. You still stand by that decision? Which version is better?
I think I already explained on which nozzle to use to match the MP143 with the og MP145. My MP145 was the very first version released almost a year ago and I use it with Gold nozzle to get the sound I like. And I believe both me and Ben have made it clear on the differences between the two variants of MP145 as both of us are hearing the same thing in that other video
@@AndyAudioVault So which 'batches', or release date versions do we avoid? The Original release was small. The next batch, which everyone is buying still, is the one that Short Bus said , is obviously changed to the point that it was not listenable! And yet, that is the version that is still selling and very popular? That whole beatup, including you , was a bit over the top. Very few 'top' iem reviewers went with your opinion....and now you are praising the 'altered ' version, as the best planar out there? Changed your opinion, because the buying public went with what Hidizs provided...and thought it was worth buying? You realize, they are buying the 'revised tuning' if there is one, and you and others accused Hidzs of producing a 'stealth tuning" .A bit of egg on your face...promoting an iem you canned, because you believed Hidizs secretly, and dishonestly, changed the tuning?
@@fretboardish Tuning isn't everything. All the technicalities stay the same. Note, he probably is still using "rev.1" while his friend is using "rev.2". These differences are subtle, not enormous. Two different sets (same rev.) can be a bit different too. Notice his preferred filter is now the rose gold one. In the video comparing rev.1 and rev.2, it was the silver one... This filter change alone would just would make "rev.1" sound like "rev.2" anyway. I'd just say if you hate treble go for the MP143. My MP145's got a lot of treble energy (cymbals etc).
Nice one bro! For all my issues with the MP145 it's still on my rotation list. Pairing it with the Divinus Velvet wide bore tips and FC6 gives me a sublime sound. I still can't get over how well it punches above its price point. Do you feel the technicalities of the MP143 can compete against it?
We were waiting Andy for the MP143 review! Thanks! Also will foam tips of KZ work with MP143 and also as my Onix is matched with the HD600 on pc, which dongle would you suggest for on the go listening with MP143? Is there any smaller, more compact, lighter and maybe cheaper dongle 4.4 so as to have with me all the time, or should use or get another one Onix? Thanks for all!
Thank you for the long-awaited review. I recently ordered mp145 for $93 and it is being shipped. If mp145 is something that I care about compared to mp143, I have to buy mp143 as well, but I am worried about it. What does mp145 lack in sound compared to mp143?
Nothing is lacking, just mild differences to an already great tuning by Hidizs on both IEMs. As mentioned in the video, the energy level of MP143 is toned down a bit with Gold Nozzle, but totally similar to MP145 when used with silver. You are looking at two of the very best magnetic planars available in the market now
The whale video at the beginning, I have to click off the full screen to double check if I accidentally played an animal documentary 🤣. I prefer the 143 I think ;) First 1 cat then 2nd cat, next you be getting an aquarium 😉
Just a thought. I would rather support Paul Watson's Foundation aka the _Sea Shepherd Conservation Society_ . He is currently under arrest in Greenland at by request of Japan to Denmark for attempting to intercept the brand new Japanese whaling wessel in protected Artic waters ✊🐳 Now, I found the 145 semi open magnetic planar my fav iem for Classical/Modern Classical/Orchestral/Live Recordings, all kind of Jazz and some Indie tracks. The MP143 should be a hit at this entry price point level !
For long I put away buying the MP145 because of so many fit complaints. But seemingly the smaller nozzle IEMs like EM6L, Melody keep slipping away from my ear, and something like the Truthear Zeroes fit me best. So I'm thinking if I should still just get the MP145. Any idea which among 145 and 143 fits similar to the Truthear Zeroes?
Both MP143 and MPO145 are metal shell and just like any metal shelled IEMs, they tend to be less firm with fitment versus resin shelled IEMs. I would say you should consider sticking to resin based IEMs like Truthear NOVA
Didn’t get the 145 because of its size. Do you think 143 is the best choice for rock genre among current releases? I Need good midbass and sub bass also
That's a very intriguing question, since both offer the same level of sound quality when tuned with the right nozzle, the smaller form factor of MP143 will be more appealing to take it out more than the bulkier MP145
B3 with the 4 BA inside offers sharper edged imaging and resolution, but less airy and less organic, more clinical. MP143 in comparison is more airy with upper frequency decays and a little faster with transient speed
Pula Anvil is a hybrid and BC, it is not as airy with the decays like a magnetic planar and not as fast with transient speed for complex passages. Anvil is also a bit more energetic with upper Mids and overall would appear more colored
Same rating as mp145 ? Even for the soundstage ? I always thought the larger driver and inner chamber size of mp145 would at least have an impact regarding soundstage vs the mp143
@@AndyAudioVault Aprettiate bro, but I was talking about the 143, you are comparing it to the 145, I dont know if you where mistake 9:22, Artti T10 is not in the chart.
Would the difference be a lot VS the Artti T10? (I bought them for 755 pesos, I'm looking at the mp143 + SD2 combo for 99 dollars 1,885.65 MX, approximately... and I would like to know if it would be worth paying more than double... regards, thank you.
my 143 just arrived, first impression, the sound is not as solid as 145, when the music is complex, it is not clear enough to define all voicing, but 145 can always keep well with all instruments or parts effortlessly. The vocal is much more convincing in 145 with butter smooth texture. I will prefer 145 for sure. 145 is beast. may be I will buy 3 sets of 145, its really an irreplaceable master piece. 143 is not even close.
after run in, the 143 is smoother, but still, i compare the sound of two, 145 has every note of piano, or guitar, thicker, punchier, more transparent, with air, I mean every sound is more lively played, and it sounds luxury, I can immerse myself into the music, and let it lead the way. on contrast, 143 try to make it cleaner and clarified, which is thinner, and the positioning is flatter, I cannot stop thinking that I am wearing an iem. It just like some Japanese remastered mixing, focus on accuracy and clarity. I haven't a lot of today's chifi iems, they are crazy to sell planar at this price point. I just believe in Andy so I bought 145 and thank you for the recommendation, i really love it and 145 is 100x better than any of my old earphones, like sony, like shure 215, that i never believe that an iem can sound like that, while I will listen to hifi at home. For me, two iems are not similar. I get the 143 from kickstarter, and i am using rose gold for both iem. silver is too sharp for me. maybe my new 143 is modified, not as same as Andy's.
For those who read it :
You should pay attention for the last part of the video. ❤
