It is really emotional for you but honestly the first reason of "maintaining the bike" is the most important reason and i really appreciate it when a rider respects his/her Machine more than anything else.

emotional attachment with your bike or car is a natural thing..i have HD and Himalayan but still i have Royal Enfield (Machismo Sports ) 22 years old, and i love that bike .. Really
This is a common phenomenon among riders…….the desire to keep upgrading to higher capacity engines. It goes on till one hits the celing. This is followed by a period of re-discovering which segment the heart truly loves. This happens over a period of about 15 to 20years. Then comes the stage when you start digging and buying the old bikes which used to pull your heart’s strings when you were young.
So either way, the hole in the pocket keeps getting bigger.

Otherwise there is no point of taking any third one. But prefer Honda or tiger triumph over bmw due to expensive maintenance and heavy weight. And use the side boxes and accessories of 'kaalu' on your newer one if possible it will save lot of finances in that regard.

With time it is important to upgrade not only as a rider but since aapke camera se poora desh bhi travel karta hai, very wise decision. The sad part is to invest in accessories again like panniers on new bike but that is just another side of biking ❤❤❤ all the very best bro

Best decision. Being a biker, It's difficult to let go of your favourite bike. But you have to do justice for the ownership as well. As you mentioned maintenance would be the biggest pain. I can tell you first hand. Struggled to find time maintaining 3 bikes and a car. Finally let go of my favourite last month for someone else to enjoy its ownership
