@@storm2666 Of course a huge factor in unpacking archives has to do with your storage system. If you are unpacking an archive from and to the same drive, even a fast nvme one, it will slow down a lot when both the DRAM and SLC buffers get full. The slowest would be from/to the same HDD, and the fastest from/to different nvme SSDs. Other combos will fall in between.

Games from 2022 and before runs perfect. But new AAA games like Starfield runs like crap, 35 fps (starfield itself is kind crap too 😂)
I did not install Alan wake 2, but It will run like 10 fps! ( its a walking simulator. anyway! Who cares! 😂 )
The only game from 2023 which runs well in my pc is Prince of Persia Lost Crown.

@@Mohammad_E89 I built a PC similar to yours in January 2018. R7 1700 using stock Wraith Spire LED CPU cooler, ASRock AB350 Pro 4 mobo, 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3000 CL15, a 128GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD salvaged from another PC, a refurbished 4TB HGST HDD, a Corsair CX750 PSU and an Antec P8 case for $600 US including tax and free shipping from Newegg, as well as a used Gigabyte RX 480 8GB for $110 from the Facebook marketplace(so $710 total). About $500 less than yours(if your dollar is the US dollar as well) but I did already have the SSD. Since then I've swapped some parts and added some parts, with more swapping to do. I've added two more sticks of ram, but since I'm still on the R7 1700 I had to reduce the ram clock to 2666 for stability. I now boot from a 2TB Intel 660p NVMe SSD and have a couple more HDDs(16TB Toshiba for my Steam Library, 10TB WD Elements external USB 3.0 HDD for my other game libraries like Epic, GoG, Ubisoft, EA, IndieGala, RockStar) and the graphics card first to a Vega 56, then a PowerColor RX 6700 XT, and currently an ASRock Phantom Gaming RX 6800 XT(which I eventually intend to undervolt and overclock to RX 6900 XT performance). I've swapped my ASUS 23 inch IPS monitor for a TCL 43 inch 4k HDR Smart TV(both 60 Hz). Went from a Microsoft Sidewinder x4 keyboard to a Razer Cynosa Lite, and swapped the pre installed fans in my Antec P8 for some Phanteks fans. I guess I also added a Logitech F310 gamepad which I haven't used very much as of yet. as for additional hardware to swap, I've got both a R9 3900X(with Wraith Prism CPU cooler) and a R7 5800X3D. I need to update my bios to support the R9, then use the R9 to update the bios again so it supports the X3D. I haven't done dust removal in a while and my temps are kinda high when gaming, so I'll do that very soon(and reposition fans to get air blowing on my HDDs. I saw recent temps of nearly 60C which are not good for the longevity of those drives). I need to copy data from my old PC to this one, and then I should be good for a while.

I think he had a 14900K sample from Intel for a little while, but I haven't seen it used in some time now so I guess he had to give it back. No way I see him getting a 4090 any time soon. I think he also got a RTX 4080 Super to sample, but I think I've seen him use it more so maybe he didn't have to give it back? I think the most I've seen him spend on a part is maybe 500 on a RTX 3070(unless he managed to get it for less used or something). I highly doubt he would spend more than that on a part, since it seems to go against the nature of the channel.

Certain AI calculations are given out to clients (players) and the game allocates it depending the players configs. One of my friends tried the game first on his laptop with an 8300H, very weak for the game. But when he played on his desktop with a 5600X we all got 10-15 fps plus and our cpu usage dropped significantly.

I think there is a video on this channel which does just that. Stever compared one of the newest and most powerful pre Ryzen APUs like a A12 9900 or something(which is four integer cores in two modules plus 512 GCN based stream processors or 8CUs) versus a low end Ryzen based APU like a Athlon 200GE or Athlon 3000G(2C/4T, 3CUs or 192 GCN based stream processors). After running through a battery of game tests, I believe the Athlon won most or all of them. I think I've also seen at least one test(can't remember if it's on this channel or another tech channel) of the 3000G versus the built in graphics in most AM5 CPUs(2 RDNA based CUs or 128 stream processors, higher clock speeds, dual channel DDR5 versus dual channel DDR4) and I believe those trade blows which is fairly impressive to me.

I played Conan: Exiles, Satisfactory, U Boat, and some less intensive games on it and it really held up well. This year I upgraded to an i7-6700 machine I had laying around (I work in IT so I regularly get free PCs which aren't Windows 11 compatible as I upgrade systems at work) and the extra CPU power definitely helped bring out the potential of the 1660 Super at 1080P. Your 1050Ti was one of the top budget GPUs for a number of years but it's finally getting a little long in the tooth, should run anything pre-2020 very well though.

My next project is going to be to downgrade my 2-fan EVGA 1080Ti to an i5-4460 system, and upgrade the 16GB 1866Mhz RAM to 32GB. Lastly, I'll buy an i7-4790K, delid it, and apply liquid metal. Will I be able to sell it for what I paid for all of the parts? NO WAY!!! But, will I get hours, days, weeks, and months of entertainment out of it? Yep. It's MY hobby. I don't do sports. So, I don't spend money on sports equipment or tickets to sporting events. I have no idea how much movie tickets and popped corn cost. I don't do that sort of thing either. I "normally" do this an average of 3 times a year. The anticipation in waiting for an online auction for "just the right part" fuels the excitment, which I use to design/plan my next tweak (to the system). Could I afford to go out and buy an i9-14900K and an RTX5090? Yea. But, where's the fun in that? Wait!!! Almost forgot to mention that I "theme" my builds, and name them. My last build was based on a BLACK/GOLD ***GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK*** motherboard. So, I named it ARMY, in honor of the United States Army.

Way overkill, my XMP with the Pentium is stuck around 4000mhz without instability) and some underperks (Intel Arc a380, but I upgraded to my kid's old GPU for this build recently - so RX5500, but 8GB, so overkill again).
The G7400 is the little processor that couldn't, but really puts up a fight - for a 2 core chip, the little guy is pretty mean.
I can't imagine going beyond an RX5500/RX580/GTX1660/OLD Titan Series... Though the Titan Black, for me, was a step too far back with the G7400 - when it worked, it really worked - but it was borked because of limited driver support (which seems a shame for that 700 series to get stuck where they were, except the worst of them....)
