- Rudolph Valentino. Gwen Vaughan, Mickey and Montague Burton
Time 36 minutes 38 seconds
This is a very important communication, because near the end of the tape Gwen Vaughan addresses Rudolph Valentino with a question that long time listeners of these tapes have sometimes asked and noticed. That is, why does the "phraseology" of communicators often sound alike, not what they say, but how the answers are sometimes phrased. Valentino addresses her concerns very honestly and I think this conversation says a lot for the integrity and honesty and complete truthfulness of these communications and communicators. One needs to listen to the whole conversation there to understand the very honest answers he gives and even Mickey's somewhat sarcastic short humorous response adds to the authenticity of the communicators, at the end of the tape. I think listeners will find the exchange very enlightening...
Valentino says: 'I am not concerned with my name. I am not concerned with myself. I am concerned with the work. It is the work that is important, not the names, not the people. It is not individuals that matter, it is the work that is done. The integrity of the individuals is important but the name of the individuals is not important. The message is important, not the way in which it comes or who says it.'
