@@nehajog Chittapavan Koknastha Brahmin. The highest Brahmin caste of Maharashtra. They are also called Kobra (KOknastha BRAhmin). Common surnames are Chitale, Savarkar, Tilak, Paranjape, Deodhar, Karandikar, Pethe, Bhave and Jog. Kobras are usually very fair and most of them have green/blue eyes. Some famous Kobras: Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Veer Savarkar, Senapati Bapat, Ashwini Bhave, Madhuri Dixit, Sudhir Phadke, Archana Joglekar, Nathuram Godse, Wrangler Paranjape, Kashinath Ghanekar, Shripad Narayan Pendse, Chaphekar Brothers, Vinoba Bhave etc.
