The Palace never lied. They were protecting the people working for them, and they said it exactly as it is, and now Markle's employees in the U.S. are experiencing the exact same bullying that her Palace staff experienced.

NDA's should be null and void when there is abusiveness and bullying, corruption and/or fraudulent representation of person/employer to the employees. This is 2024 and there can be no tolerance of such a backwards and abusive mentality of abusing and bullying the "lowly" staff especially when there is a pattern of this behavior with this one. My view exactly… the courts should not be seen to be aiding and abetting abuse under the guise of an NDA. Such NDAs should fall flat on their faces.
The staff in the USA can break the NDA and only have to worry about being sued, however the staff that were employed by the Palace (all royal staff) don’t sign NDAs but as part of their employment must sign and are covered by the official secrets act, mainly for security reasons. It’s not only anyone in the employ of the Royals, but also anyone employed by a government department.
Breaking the offical secrets act carries harsher penalties than breaking an NDA, namely you can be sentenced to prison.
So, I for one, am pleased people in the US are breaking their silence, as it’s quite literally impossible for those in the UK to do so without committing a crime.

If there is evidence of illegal and corrupt activity an NDA is voidable. Mental “abuse” allegations have a higher burden of proof to make an NDA contract voidable.
Can we also just take a minute to guffaw over the fact that the person whose motto is "show up, do good" and "compassion in action" turns out to be a nasty individual to those who depend on her for a living? Stop glorifying celebrities, people, they all have skeletons in their closets and none of them show their real face in front of the cameras.
Her father had heart attacks and stroke, and the compassionate duchess was not moved at all, to go see him, let alone call.

You can tell she is trying her hardest to keep herself reigned in when she speaks. There is a video of her in South Africa with a group of mothers and small children were you can see and hear her being condescending.
In it, she wants to sit on the floor for a photo op and the other mothers do not want to. One woman even tells the others “don’t sit on the floor” but Meghan quickly disregards her and says, “Come on, it’s fine” as she continues getting on the floor. The woman never moves. The others hesitate. At one point Meghan is on the floor alone and even says “I can’t be the only one on the floor” to all of the mothers. She did not care at all that they were uncomfortable. A man on Meghan’s staff steps in and orders everyone onto the floor…. That’s when I saw with my own eyes what kind of person she is.

The statement from the makeup artist/facialist is very telling. Surely she would know that it would 'get out' at some point, especially once they quit? It's not like family. It would seem to me more logical that she is very charming to those she works with? I've also read casual testimonies of people who worked with her during her suits days who said she was pretty normal and nice enough. While I don't like Meghan for other reasons, I remain unsure if these rumours are fully trustworthy without direct proof or a named source speaking out.
It's not just based on what people are saying. People were asked to explain the extremely high turnover rate. According to Hollywood Reporter, 12 people said it's because they are very difficult to work for. If they are great bosses, why are so many people quitting?
