What enjoyable adventurous ride on Apollo. Thanks for taking us along on this awesome ride Tara 💖🥰. I hope the Master's daughter's knee gets better very soon & doesn’t need surgery 🫣. That lady whose kicker horse kicked her may have to pay up to cover the Master’s daughter’s medical bill, oh dear😟 hopefully she will stay right at the back of the hunting group next time if she is allowed to attend.😒

we all know accidents happen, after all you are dealing with large horses who sometimes do unexpected things but.......cheeky charger seems to have his own ideas how to behave and his rider obviously has no thought or regard for the rest of the field. I hope there were stern words to this woman after and she in some way, recompensed the master. Apollo is loving it. yes, I think he is fitter than you thought. lovely country your covering.
Good Evening Tara. Appollo is definitely a good boy. Especially some of the other horses or acting up. And I hope the lady field master is okay. Tara and I hope her knee not broken at all too. Please be safe out there Tara. And Appollo too. All my love to you and Appollo too. God Bless him.
Cheeky charger woman is a menace - I would ban her from any meet until she learns how to control her horse. She appears to want to be in front no matter the carnage that might entail. Other than that, very enjoyable and love Apollo.
I don't remember too many human names, comes with me being Face Blind, but I remember the woman who taught me how to ride. The horses would try to be cheeky with us kids but when Melinda showed up they knew who was the real herd boss.
Yes, they know. Years ago, a friend and I leased a horse for possible purchase. The indoor arena had several calves penned in a corner. Try as we might neither my friend nor I could get that horse to not strongly shy away from the calf pen. The instructor hopped on the horse and rode it around the area, and right next to the pen, without a bit of difficulty! She couldn't understand at why we were having such a problem with the horse. Obviously, neither my friend nor I purchased the animal. They know!
Tara you said that the Master Lady rode a Friesan x Arabian? I had to stop and look that up because I hadn't heard of that combination. Absolutely beautiful! Apollo is having a great time! 🐴❤👍
I've been watching you just ride Farook so much it's weird to not see 3 strides and your past the whole herd! Apollo is like a Cadillac. That cheeky horse needs some training, someone is going to end up seriously hurt.
Wow the poor lady getting kicked and in the knee ouch! I hope she’ll be alright . Such a shame as it was all going smoothly for everyone. Funny how you lot got separated how an earth did that happen Tara? Apollo seems to be really enjoying it bless him he’ll be looking forward to his hose down later. Tfs😎🏇😎
It was only a matter of time before cheeky charger would hurt someone again.. I feel sorry for the horse having such a exscuse my language but Stupid owner.
Well done, Apollo. You did great!!! Farouk would have loved to be with the fast group. But you kept up just fine. I'm not sure what the rider of cheaky charger was thinking, but she needs to think of others and stay in the back. It's not the horse's fault. Take care! ❤️❤️🥕🥕🐴🐴
Are not horses with Red ribbons (kickers) required to ride at the rear of a group and keep them away from others? i'm surprised to see them in the middle!!! Apollo wants to be in the fast group lol no slow tick tock for him on this chase.

Loved it!♥️ Can't wait for part 5! Thank you so much for sharing and All take care!🙏🥰🤗🤗🐶🖤...🐴🐴💙
Hahahaha. Apollo wanted to be in the fast group all along. He just needed to trick you into it! I wonder if anyone will address the ongoing problem of Cheeky Charger for future hunts? Do they do such a thing? Apollo seems to be enjoying himself immensely. Thanks for sharing. Love to all.
The camera gives a curved horizon, so I have to rewatch with this on mind. Looked like you were riding to Lands End for a minute there. Big black horses are sneaky. Feigning one way with their heads and doing little side dances with the rear legs. That's how Apollo probably surprised you getting so far ahead in your film yesterday.
I think Apollo planned his move from the slow to fast group 😁 sad that someone got hurt by the pure ignorance of a rider if you know your horses temperament then you should know where to place yourself in a large group for everyone's safety. Well done Apollo ♥️♥️🐎🥕🥕
Never been ina group of horses that have kicked out luckily whilst riding ...it is painful ..I’ve been kick by a horse as a child...not nice at all and yes did get injured on the leg and back of the ribs .
I was glad to see the reminder posted to riders of horses carrying a red ribbon on the tail. I had been wondering why these horses were mingled amongst the group! Poor form by the riders!
All your horses are gorgeous! I once ridden horses at 10 years old, I’m not too experienced I was at a boarding school because I had personal problems I was super short but I chose like the tallest horse his name was Darcy and he was a purebred paint I think we usually had fjords but one of the fjords died (of old age, the horses were well fed and were in great health) she wasn’t ridden mush because of it but people loved her anyways we had these groups on certain days ya’know? I was on Thursday’s after school, when the horses got there hooves trimmed I always worried if it hurt them LOL but yes I know it’s just like getting a manicure XD I was little ok, the women who was teaching me at the time kept telling me about how it’s not hurting them lol anyways I hope your doing well I wrote this whole thing because I love telling random stuff, hopefully your doing well!
That kicker is still up in the front. What in the world? I'm glad they posted the rules. My mare has a red ribbon so big that you can't miss it! lol And I do ride in the back if I'm in a group. I didn't notice that the roads are marked for the hunt.. so it was good you styed in a group. Hope the Master is doing okay..
This might be harsh, but if a horse is a kicker should not be permitted to participate in an event where the horses might come close to one another. Being kicked by a horse can be quite painful and possibly debilitating. It seems like the red ribbon is not important to some owners of kickers. I hope that the woman did not sustain a bad injury. I was stepped on by a horse. Should not have been wearing sneakers. Broke a bone in my foot. Apollo is a gentleman. I love him. Be well! 💙💙
I agree with Pam. We saw last week that this rider had no control of her horse, could not stop unless it =an up to thr rear of the horse in front of it. If she was told to stay at the rear, I doubt she could control it enough to remain at the rear. The horse will go where it wants, in this case in the
Sorry, hit the wrong key. in this case to the front of the pack. I wonder how it would behave with an experienced rider. As for the red ribbon, the rider should have one pinned to the back of her jscket.. A red jacket or vest could be mistaken for the hunt Master from a distance. I admire all the young ladies on their ponies Apollo and Tara, you were fan.
I am such a novice by comparison but you are all fast and pretty close together! At least it looks that way. You are an amazing rider and I am especially fond of Apollo.
Apollo is such a polite horse. He came up behind and slowed right down without you speaking. Good Manners. Does Apollo have a smooth canter? I know he is such a big actioned horse and his canter really eats up the ground, but it is so hard to see how hard you may be working.
Apollo is steady and dependable, doing his best as always. This is out of hand with the dangerous horse. The English can be a bit too polite at times. Cheeky charger needs to be told where to place herself and to stay there. Better yet, go home as I do not think she can keep that horse in the back.
Lovely ride, love watching superb Apollo! He is surprising with his fitness and his speed. I thought at the very least CC shd hv finally been made to ride at the back after the incident but seems she wasnt. Also it doesnt seem fair that the female Master's injury forced her to retire when the culprit kept riding. There was some lovely scenery - well all of it was! ♥️🐎♥️🥰♥️☀️🥕⚘
I can not think of another point of injury which hurts more than the knee! Frankly, someone should be barred from any future group rides. P. S : That will teach you to underestimate Apollo!
On a different note I read in recent sports med site, that ice first on injury actually slows healing. Leave the injury to heat as it is want to do. Helps. Ice, or chilling more effective at a later stage. Maybe chap would help. I know they would. But not traditional.
Apollo must have plotted to lose the slow group! 🐴Pity the master got kicked, surely horses with red ribbons should stay at the back and not be right in the thick of things!
It is necessary to wean the horse from such actions, or not to drive up close to other riders. Or simply control the horse. Apollo is holding up well, coping with hunting.
Apollo is doing well for being less than in tip top condition. Makes us wonder.how he would do if in fine shape! Cheeky Charger needs a good talking to.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️🏇🏇🏇🏇🥰🥰🥰🥰
Is participation by invitation? That would eliminate naughty horses and misbehaving riders after they've exhibited unacceptable traits in prior rides. Word would get around when something awful happens and the offending parties should be ostracized until they can show they've corrected their issue(s). Riding groups like this are a tight bunch with limited numbers and it is extremely important everyone should have a successful ride without complications or injuries. I hope the ride master gets better quickly. As for Apollo, he's a sweetheart! And Tara, you're great! If I was planning a ride like this, I wouldn't hesitate to invite you. Thanks for being a good participant.
He is in better shape probably due to Bella & Farouk encouraging him to run in the field. I think he's so sweaty just due to his fur coat. I do have a question: Did Cheeky Charger & his rider get dismissed from the remainder of the hunt? Is she banned from further hunts until she learns etiquette?
I'm sorry to have to say it, but the Master needs to up her game and order Cheeky Charlie to the back or off the field. Masters in the Hunts I've known wouldn't have tolerated such bad behaviour. But then to be fair I wasn't there so can only judge from what I can see.
Upsetting for the lady injured and really bad behaviour of the owner with kicking horse she should have stayed clear of other riders 😩 The various terrain was a joy for all the riders and horses. Apollo was loving it 🐎🐎🐎
What are the consequences to Cheeky Charger's rider? Wow ... that is not good. The horse is not to blame in my opinion. This reflects poor training, the disrespect that the rider has for others and her inability to control her horse. Hopefully she decides to spend some more time with her horse before attending another hunt (assuming she isn't banned). Apollo seems to be enjoying his outing and he is doing so great given his fitness level. (which is not too bad, given how well he is doing). He is a substantial horse - no doubt about that. You will be tired after this one, Tara! But you are such a great rider and always thinking of your horse.

Obviously NO PASSING other groups either! I hope the lady that was kicked is okay. That one kick could cause her to never be able to ride again and more importantly cause problems for her in her daily life...they make rules for a reason, yet so many just ignore them...such a shame.
Apollo has been fantastic on this hunt❣️
🐾🖤💜🧡🌺
Apollo says, I might not be as fast as Farouk but I'm enjoying myself,
What enjoyable adventurous ride on Apollo.
I thought that you never go ahead of the master, unless specifically directed to do so by him/her. Yet a couple of riders did go ahead.
same.
Apollo is just enjoying his time with his mom and other horses. He's so amazing! He's a champ🥉🥉.Just love him so much💖💖💖.
It's a shame that one of the leaders got kicked in the knee.
I hope it's not really bad.
we all know accidents happen, after all you are dealing with large horses who sometimes do unexpected things but.......cheeky charger seems to have his own ideas how to behave and his rider obviously has no thought or regard for the rest of the field.
Apollo loves going out with the hunt😁❤
Cheeky charger woman is a menace - I would ban her from any meet until she learns how to control her horse. She appears to want to be in front no matter the carnage that might entail. Other than that, very enjoyable and love Apollo.
I don't remember too many human names, comes with me being Face Blind, but I remember the woman who taught me how to ride. The horses would try to be cheeky with us kids but when Melinda showed up they knew who was the real herd boss.
Tfs
Yes, they know. Years ago, a friend and I leased a horse for possible purchase. The indoor arena had several calves penned in a corner. Try as we might neither my friend nor I could get that horse to not strongly shy away from the calf pen. The instructor hopped on the horse and rode it around the area, and right next to the pen, without a bit of difficulty! She couldn't understand at why we were having such a problem with the horse. Obviously, neither my friend nor I purchased the animal. They know!
Loved the ride thank you Tara 👍😀
Glad you enjoyed it!
Tara you said that the Master Lady rode a Friesan x Arabian? I had to stop and look that up because I hadn't heard of that combination. Absolutely beautiful! Apollo is having a great time! 🐴❤👍
Well done Taea and gorgeous Appolo. Lots of high speed work with this group 🙂
Do they ever ban a horse from the hunt?
I've been watching you just ride Farook so much it's weird to not see 3 strides and your past the whole herd! Apollo is like a Cadillac. That cheeky horse needs some training, someone is going to end up seriously hurt.
So glad you enjoyed your ride I felt very sorry for the Lady master getting kicked in the knee. Hope she will be alright.
🤞
Wow the poor lady getting kicked and in the knee ouch! I hope she’ll be alright . Such a shame as it was all going smoothly for everyone. Funny how you lot got separated how an earth did that happen Tara? Apollo seems to be really enjoying it bless him he’ll be looking forward to his hose down later. Tfs😎🏇😎
I hope you let us know if the rider who caused the accident has any consequences levied against her.
It was only a matter of time before cheeky charger would hurt someone again.. I feel sorry for the horse having such a exscuse my language but Stupid owner.
Good! I'm glad that noticed was sent out. It's sad that it took for an incident like this to be sent.
Rens here. They are, but bad manners seem to be the norm nowadays, not just on hunt rides
If bad manners continues then it's the leadership that is not performing it's responsibility.
He’s looking a joy to ride.
🐴🐴💙...😳 I was aghast at reading the Title before watching!...this should be interesting..."Play"...What a beautiful sight from that hill!😍...Apollo's killing it!👊🌟 haven't heard Him "Huffing or Puffing" after either!🥰💖..."Cheeky Charger" needs to be Banned from these Hunts!!😠 that poor "Master"😖♥️...I wonder if the slow Group went on their way as you were all stopped and looking after the Master had gotten kicked, and therefore you got separated?...cause doesn't the slow Group follow a different trail?🤔...Hopefully you catch them at some point...another exciting episode of this ride!! Loved it!♥️ Can't wait for part 5! Thank you so much for sharing and All take care!🙏🥰🤗🤗🐶🖤...🐴🐴💙
Apollo is brilliant and of course that means so is the rider! Love these hunt rides- more please. 🙏
That's how Apollo probably surprised you getting so far ahead in your film yesterday.
talk about not going near horses with red ribbons, but go right up their arses in multipul occasions in this video!
Apollo being a wise herd leader knows where the front of the hunt is! Cheeky charger strikes again. They should be banished to the back of the hunt.
I hope the Master was alright after that kick. :( Apolo did very well!
Looking Good👑 Apollo👑Braaf!!
👍😁
I was on Thursday’s after school, when the horses got there hooves trimmed I always worried if it hurt them LOL but yes I know it’s just like getting a manicure XD I was little ok, the women who was teaching me at the time kept telling me about how it’s not hurting them lol anyways I hope your doing well I wrote this whole thing because I love telling random stuff, hopefully your doing well!
tfs 😊
Aside from the trouble, gosh I WISH I could have the possibility to ride there 🥺
I am such a novice by comparison but you are all fast and pretty close together! At least it looks that way. You are an amazing rider and I am especially fond of Apollo.
I don’t think kickers should be allowed really. It endangers the other horses and riders.
The chestnut in front of you, has a beautiful plaited tail.
You are so brave
Apollo gets an A for effort. I expect he will get fit again in no time!
Apollo is such a polite horse. He came up behind and slowed right down without you speaking. Good Manners.
Does Apollo have a smooth canter? I know he is such a big actioned horse and his canter really eats up the ground, but it is so hard to see how hard you may be working.
Especially his collected canter is very smooth
i like that its a human and not foxes they're chasing. :) that's a good sport.
👍😁
I think all kicking horses should be at the back. very sad she was kicked in the knee. Kansas USA
I like the way you ride your to horse Nannette
Apollo is steady and dependable, doing his best as always. This is out of hand with the dangerous horse. The English can be a bit too polite at times. Cheeky charger needs to be told where to place herself and to stay there. Better yet, go home as I do not think she can keep that horse in the back.
Apparently, rules can be ignored by some people. And she rides right in the middle.
Great hack job well done APOLLO HIS SUCH A GRand good boy
Any ideas of the breed of the 2 horses at the front, at the start of this video? They look like lovely solid builds.
I’ve been kicked like that on rides before no fun anyhow Apollo found the fast group and said Farouk who🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Greetings from the USA
I assumed Apollo was the Master. Lol.
Thanks Connie 😊
Heya just out of curiosity I have often seen different coloured ribbons on horses tails what do the different colours mean?
He is in better shape probably due to Bella & Farouk encouraging him to run in the field. I think he's so sweaty just due to his fur coat. I do have a question: Did Cheeky Charger & his rider get dismissed from the remainder of the hunt? Is she banned from further hunts until she learns etiquette?
I don't know
@@Tara101 Fingers crossed! That rider's a menace.
I'm sorry to have to say it, but the Master needs to up her game and order Cheeky Charlie to the back or off the field. Masters in the Hunts I've known wouldn't have tolerated such bad behaviour. But then to be fair I wasn't there so can only judge from what I can see.
I thought all owners of kicking horses had to keep themselves to the back. All that go and stop stuff would drive me crazy.
Tara, are those horses that are smaller and chunky a breed? I’m wondering if they’re cobs? Lovely riding along with you. My first hunt.
I LOVED HUNTING ON APOLLO!!!!!!!! 👍❤️🐴
Upsetting for the lady injured and really bad behaviour of the owner with kicking horse she should have stayed clear of other riders 😩
The various terrain was a joy for all the riders and horses.
