Pendleton County Farmers Market Managers Explain Improvements To Their Market From WVFMA Mini Grant

During our Pendleton County Farmer's Market visit, we spoke with market managers Anne Humes and Luke Taylor about how the 2023 WVFMA Mini-Grant funding has improved their operations! They purchased a point-of-sale system for their farmer's market, allowing them to accept credit card payments for all vendors and making it easier than ever for you to support local farmers.
With this new system, they can also efficiently consign products for farmers and producers who can't make it to the market on Saturday mornings. This upgrade significantly improves their market and community outreach, boosting sales for hardworking farmers and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
