This movie will always be my favorite I really appreciate the hard work the animators put to make such a great film, this movie really came out very well. Love the story of balto.
Thank you so much for uploading this! Balto is one of my favorite movies of all time. Being able to see so much of the behind the scenes stuff means a lot for me, especially since I've seen the movie so many times throughout the years. That close-up of Jenna being colored was such a pleasure to behold. She is on the top of my list of most gorgeous women in animation. This documentary should have made it into the DVD. Like everyone else said, this is a vastly underrated movie, but, I kind of like that. It means that forever and always it will be a special gem that the rest of the world never seems to notice. The sequels are the quality you would expect from a straight to video offshoot of a less-popular film, but there are some good parts in them.
@@mattyvarnas1736 and originally being released for 1997, but in the end, there was ironically a musical cats movie that replaced the other and that was WB´s CATS DONT DANCE
I started an animation course two weeks ago, and it's so weird and fascinating watching a documentary on one of my childhood favourites and knowing some of the terminology. I love this film so much.
Great animation movie. :) I like the art and how it was different even if it was altered from history. While not like the real life version, it was unique.
Our recovering patients and terrain overcoming Kaine are awesome to find out more about, from this animated true story behind the scenes. Stay safe everyone!
Till know I didn't this film was made with digital ink and paint. I always thought it was made the old fashion way by literally using traditional cels and taking pictures of the drawings over and over again. Like older Disney movies before they introduced CAPS. But I know this movie ain't Disney.
Coming from a guy who’s been convicted of 200 acts of raping dogs and once been charged with attempted homicide. Good thing you and Balto don’t reside in the same reality.
A tragically underrated animated feature.
+Carl Minez I totally agree with you dude. Barely noone knows or cares about this movie. It's my all time favorite movie. So yeah.
The best movies never get the attention they deserve ^^
+Carl Minez But this to me is my all time favorite film but it doesn't get the attention it needs.
+Carl Minez Couldn't agree more
+Corbin Ball mine too

You're just in love with late Audrey Hapburn.
You’re welcome
@joduedeit I found you here
You sure did.
@@CompleteAnimation Your comment here was basically the shorter version of your video. Lol nice seeing you here
Ah, my childhood. That score always brings me back, lol.
Balto on a 35mm film. Who could have imagined? Those were the long painful days.
It was technically animated using Toonz's software otherwise, they merely created a 35mm conversion from that.
Around That Time Cats was Meant to Be Next.

Balto is litterly my number 1 favorite animated movie i have ever watched while growing up
I love this movie too much and i literally grew up with it
The amount of work and dedication to the characters is amazing

So cool! Thank you for uploading this! Balto is one of my favorite movies!
I really loved watching this on home video when I was a kid❤
Balto is my hero!
Even though I wasn't born in the 80s or 90s Balto is still one of my favorite animated films.
a very international treasure, thanks.
This uses digital ink & paint just like We're Back! A Dinosaur Story. Sadly, it was Amblimation's final film.
My childhood nostalgia, this movie was perfect.
Never remove this video. For me it's too special to be removed. Please never do it💗💗

I remembered checking that out on video at the library.

That is of the filming of the Animation in Universal studios in 1995.

@@balto2455 Balto seems to looking at us in a way that increases our melancholy in that scene.
P.S: I will never forget this movie.
Well damn, they autta remaster
it now.
I'm sure it was a pain in the ass to animate Balto. "Who wants to draw four-legged animals!"
Es una excelente película

I think I know that guy in the red shirt. Is he the same animator that worked on Who framed Roger Rabbit?
And the director of The Prince of Egypt.
