I work for Husqvarna group in Huskvarna and I diecast alot of the parts for these saws. Amazing feeling to see a saw in your hands smiling away! This made my day Billy! Greetings from Sweden
Brother when I went to the factory in Sweden it solidified why i felt i had something superior in my hands all these years ,,please say hi to the folks on the line for me , sincerely, brother thx
i have a tiny 460 and I love it, just for around my 40 acre farm with 24 acres of wood on it, The saw is perfect I use an 18 inch bar and couldn't be more pleased with it. Starts second pull cold always.
You're a great brand ambassador for Husqvarna, Buckin'. Always fair minded, always honest. What you have to say in favour or occasionally in criticism of Husky's saws is weighty, considered and offered to help everyone do better. No better man, no more deserving. Thanks for being who you are buddy.
Im using 562 markII for two months. 5 days a week, 7-8 hour a day. Great saw so far, excellent balance and amortization. Mark II has more space between muffler and crankcase, more radiators on cylinder and bigger air intake on a starter side.
Husqvarna USA. That was a board room discussion from the corporation it's self, to send you that package. I would say it took several marketing managers across the US a lot of time, emails back and forth, watching your UA-cam channel, just to get the feel of the reason why they would all agree to send a person that is not a Husqvarna dealer, a saw, bar, chain, and shirts. Dang write man, I would be honored as well. You have arrived, and a great retirement awaits. Good job Buckin!
Bought my 1st Husqvarna saw back in 1997, still run it. I had to rebuild the carb once, other than that just normal maintenance has kept it running. I do have 2 newer saws but they’re Husqvarna’s too. I’ve run other saws but they just don’t seem to stand up to my fleet of Husky’s. Oh yeah…… at 69 years old my saws still get used at least 2 days a week. I might be old, but I ain’t dead yet!
That’s a huge deal man. Congrats on receiving that saw from husky. Even tho you are such a well accomplished man in the industry this is like the final stamp of approval. You will honestly be remembered forever by myself and many thousand of others. I’m 35 and will hopefully still remember everything that I have learned from you when I’m an old man. I have never watched any other channel for power saw info because I could tell from day 1 that you are the real expert.
That profile is exactly how i grind my chain for myself and others every cutter has given me very good feed back i also bring the guides down a little more than recommended depending on saw size and wood species hardwood or softwood etc!!
I have the older 562xp running a 24" every day. Updated the air intake a while back. The largest bar" recommend" by Husky is a 28". Found it just could not keep the speed up in the hard wood under it own weight. If you want it scream all day 20" is the best. I didn't have many trees over 24" so falling and cleanup can be done with one saw. One thing like and hate is the run time vs the 70cc class. Limbing and bucking in the heat it just keeps running and I run out of gas first. 70cc saw( MS462) goes dry in 15-20min, way to short. That X cut chain profile is impossible to maintain with a round file only. Husky needs a file to match that profile. Overall the 562XP has been a great saw for me. last year I got the 550XP mark2 as a climbing saw with 20" bar.
Very happy for you. Like giving to a grandchild on Christmas day. I file that chain topcutter with a square file at 90-Degree horizontal to the bar good in all wood hard and soft or dirty. Lasts a long time when filed.
I own a mark 1 562. Love it and have the wrap, dogs, and recently piped it myself. Love it even more. It's not the most powerful saw, does what I need it to.
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith I took my factory exhaust apart and opened it all up. Welded a bigger square output. I owe my inspiration to modify my saw to you and your passion for saws. Thank you

I just bought a used 592xp with full wrap and 32” bar and I LOVE IT. Added a Husky 24” lightweight bar (I think it is actually a rebranded Sugihara bar) which is great makes it so light and easy to use for small quick jobs.
That was a really fun unboxing. I knew you would find a way to start it and find something to cut. Too hard to resist. I love my 254xp 30 year old saw. Has run like a champ.
Everyone barks on about the weight of husky but it's balance and feels nice in the hand, gone from 372 to 560 to 562 to 572xp and all the while I'll had the 390xp and ill never change good work buckin
Im glad they kept their fisher-price bubble. that skweek skweek brings out the inner child in me too. Keep the HUSQVARNA box for a carrying case. LOL happy cutting. Stay safe
I run a gen one 562 and LOVE it. Just recently it developed a idle issue. It will now get sent off the boys at rip saw for them to repair and sprinkle their magic pixie on it. That 562 is a true sleeper. The saw on a 26” with that chain is the combo of the century.
i have like ten saws lol im set for life. i have a 7310p , ms500i , ms462 , cs590, cs390, two ms170, ms250, 545 mark ll, 3 hortzformma (76cc, 90cc and 120cc)
I think you will love those x cut chains the 83 and 85 both are great chains ⛓️ they cut better than any chain out the box that i have ever used and i have tried a lot of different brands
My first chainsaw was a Jonsered, and that is what I mainly own. I was really upset when they Axed Jonsered. It is good to see Husqvarna to something so kind as this. Makes me kind of feel like giving them a chance. I know they were all the same on the inside, but I felt really bad for my friends shop that sold Jonsered. They are mainly selling echo saws now, and I never liked echo's except for the 2511t (but even they have weak trigger handles, and the wire lanyard is weak also). I love my Red saws, but I agree that Jonsered/Husky saws are built tough. I remember when one of the guys on the logging crew I used to work for, accidentally drove over a 2171 Jonsered with the skidder. We robbed a bunch of the plastic off a dead saw, and had it back in the wood a few days later. A few years later a friend that is a die hard stihl guy, had that happen to his saw, and there wasn't much of anything left to salvage.
Wow, congrats! Wild timing, I pulled out my 560xp after running my 500i and 572xp today.. and it ripped! Amazing they sent it with a 28" bar too. Health to enjoy brother.
"My Flys been down the entire time" Best unboxing video Eva. I purchased this saw just before Christmas. Have yet to start it, but cannot wait to get it into the wood. Love love love Husqvarna!!
Sweet! Happy Husqvarna is grasping your channel and the whole community. That being said as a proud “East Coaster” I run a full wrap handle. You made me a believer in its handling advantages. Great content and want to see how you show its worth.
Just bought one last week, running it in hardwood in upstate NY 20” bar . Love it 👍🏻 it’s not my 372xp but a close 2 nd it’s lighter faster and very nimble in your hands .Looking forward to your review. Remember Get the gullet !
For some reason every husky I've own I've had issue with it running worth a darn. gave to the two last ones away they pissed me off that much. not even that much use.. but when they run right they do well. I'd love try a larger saw like that to prove my feelings wrong about them... PS glad to see your doing better. I'm 4 years out from my injury and doing really good. you'll get there soon.. Best of luck with that saw.. looking forward to seeing it in action..
Thanks. My old (1994) Husq 268 blew up yesterday, and I replaced it today with a 562 with a light bar, 28 inch. I am 72, female, and I do not like to bend over with a 20# chain saw, and hence the 28"bar. I really hope this new saw is as good as the old one. Used 98% for cutting firewood.
You captured the energy and excitement of a kid the night before Christmas 🎄that’s why your videos are so addictive, that and the sound of a well working power saw centres me, brings me back to good memories of me with my old man out in the woods. ❤2U and all that you do.
I’m currently updating my herd. Recently sold off my beloved 661. My 460 is starting to show her age. So I bought a 500i to replace those 2. Mind blown so far. Now my johnsred 2065 is aging as well so now after the 500i purchase and the older I get the less I like to have to figit with things so now I’m thinking about a newer 60ish cc saw.
I got a 562xp from a client whose husband passed. I showed up with a small ryobi to do a basic job. She gave me the husky to try but I didnt know how to start it at the time. End of job she gave it to me. Got it up and running and 1.5 years later,. I use it on all my jobs. I hated the brake release/cap issue though lol
Of all my Husqvarna saws, the 562 xp (2018) is my favorite. Came with a standard 28" and I add wrap bars and switch to the then new Husqvarna lightweight bar. Has no problem with all the oak around here. Have cut up to 36" without a problem. I run the oiler wide open. Looking forward to how you like the Mark II, been thinking of getting one.
Taz, you are 100% correct! This man has always been extremely clear about how he feels about Husqvarna. He is indeed the reason I went the Husqvarna route myself.
I gotta be real with ya, I'm feeling a little envious. I need a new saw so bad. Been looking for a new one but just can't do it until I get back to work and get some money coming in. So awesome what Husqvarna did and sent to you. That's awesome brother.
You are not alone brother. And likely, there are many others also that feel your pain. But life will do this sometimes and seems not to care.... it passes over that man in need, to bless yet again, the man that needeth not. Something like that...
Nice saw. A few guys have figured out how to duplicate the c83/c85 chain profile. You sharpen the top plate with a stihl hexa file then hit the gullet with a 5/32 file. Similar to the baby C you showed us but with a square/hexa file. It's not an east coast saw until you stick a 16 inch bar on it lol.
Love my 562 mark2. It’s a mid sized workhorse and nice to carry into thick brushy areas vs a heavier saw. Once you open it up a bit with a light port and a pipe it is hard to NOT want to grab that saw first
I’m a stihl guy but right now stihl honestly doesn’t have a model I’d be willing to shell money out for. Been really looking at these 5 series saws for the last few months. Maybe not the lightest saws but they look like winners. Love your content and your faith. Please don’t ever change
Congratulations Billy! That's awesome Husqvarna acknowledged your hard work, dedication, commitment to the logging industry. Well deserved enjoy friend
Hi Buckin, I have been waiting for my dealer to get one of the 562xp Mark II in. I'll be watching for your review of this saw. I do have experience with the X-cut chain and I am very impressed with how it cuts. I have profiled a wheel for my grinder to replicate the grind Husqvarna has put on this chain. If Husqvarna is watching, offer us a CBN wheel with an X-cut profiled wheel for the Oregon grinders. Then the dealers that offer sharpening and the end user with a grinder could continue sharpening the chain with the original out of the box grind with ease.
A huge thank you to Husqvarna for their generous gift and for putting their trust in you. And to Christine for organizing it all 🙏❤️ You're going to enjoy the heck out of this, and so will we. And Husqvarna will get an honest, well-educated review. Doesn't get any better! I'm looking forward to seeing where you can go with this ☺️🌳🌲💗 All in good time ...
Its about fricken time Husqvarna! Wooooohooooo Buckin 🤩 ya look like a believing youngster on Christmas morning 🙌 glad to see you being supported bt the industry 😁 stoked for you Billy and big thanks to Husqvarna for giving you big love! 🫶 Aloha brother
I like the c85 best out of the box chain I have run. The gold joiner link is a great start and end point for sharpening. It has minimal stretch and mine has lasted better than any before. It keeps a great profile with a round file if sharpen only the top plate for the duration of the original gullet.
Buckin, I know you have always been a 70CC+ kinda guy but this size saw certainly has a place in your truck. My 562XP was originally outfitted with a 28" bar just like yours and C83 Full Comp instead of C85. The skip is a great choice on that saw given its size. I find that the saw is a bit nose heavy with the standard 28" bar and would love to try the Husqvarna 28" light bar (the bar I should have ordered it with). Been watching you for years and appreciate all you do. I am short enough that I can truly stand up and buck with a 28" As you deal with some shoulder injuries, this saw will surely have a place for you. I find that it is a wonderful, smooth saw with lots of power for how compact it is and it has just ruined me from running most other saws. Mine is not even the Mark ii by the way. You are 100% correct on the build quality. I am finding that their balance of size, weight and compactness is my favorite package. Congratulations and thank you Husqvarna for sending this to Buckin as he has influenced many purchases over his years on YT even mine.
I love my Husky, my dad bought some cheap Poulans as back up and truck saws, didn't realize they were made by Husky as well. For a loose, cheap saw those run like a scalded cat.
I love that c83 x cut saw shop had to talk me into spending more on that chain but it did last at least a month or so cutting good which surprised the heck out of me
Just bought one of these myself last week as my FIRST chainsaw. Got one with the lightweight 24" bar and the C85 chain. I LOVED WORKING WITH IT IMMEDIATELY...but I don't have any real experience so what do I know? Not much I can say that! Anyhow, its really good to know that an expert on the subject also finds the saw so satisfying to work with. Can't wait to see you run it with a full wrap and a muffler mod.
Very nice of them to do that! I like the C85 chain… cuts really well straight out of the box… I’m interested to see how you resharpen it as using a round file will change the shape of the grind… 👍🏻
That's awesome Buckin Billy! You should be a Husqvarna representative or engineer for them atleast! You definitely know all about them. That's the saw I've been thinking about purchasing myself. Awesome videos!!
Don’t take pain meds. Pain is our guide to healing and letting us know what we can and cannot do in the healing process. I had an L4/L5 discectomy early in my career and was climbing in two weeks with out pain control but the pain guided me.:) I know you probably know this friend:)
Just got into saws and pre ordered this one with the 28" for my first pro saw for a Christmas present for myself. Been watching and learning from you since I bought a 445 of a buddy. Glad to see you getting recognized by Husqvarna! Mine came with the double dogs separate in the box. Just need the full wrap handle now.
Good for the first few tanks of gas then the top end on those new digital tune platforms blow. They race along like a sports car and need engine changes like a NASCAR motor.
There's one thing I see Stihl doing well that Husky and Echo could improve on. When you buy a pro-grade saw like the XP series, they should include felling dogs, wrap handle, and a light bar. Of course there should be a little extra cost, but it shouldn't be difficult to acquire. I know Husky has the kits, but they don't sell wrap saws with felling dogs. It would just be nice to purchase the saw with the professional features. When I got my 592xp wrap kit, it didn't have captive nuts. Echo doesn’t even have their kits figured out. I usually have to educate the dealers on what parts work on the 2511t to convert them to narrow kerf. Purchasing everything separately adds complexity and cost.
I’m in Georgia (USA). Have a Husky 440 I got in 2019. Love the little saw. 20” bar. But after the recent storms here on the east coast I needed a bigger saw. I was looking at the 562 but none were available. So I found one 555 on Lowe’s website with a 24” bar. The thing came from Arizona. I really like the triple 5. It’s 60cc also. But it’s the small mount. Was thinking about the 28” bar for it but not sure how it’ll work out with the mount.
ALRIIIIGHHTT!!!!! YES!!! Buckin this is SO COOL! I know I know you always say "friends, just one pound difference, just one, and you get all the extra power of a 70 cc saw.... just get a 572" I know I know but I just LOVE the 562! I am SO excited to see this in your hands again. You had 2 other videos with it, I guess it was someone else's where you ran a square grind,.325 32 inch bar and it did great! I can't wait for more 562 content there's just something about that saw that gets me happy. THANKS HUSQVARNA!! Buckin you are their greatest salesman whether you or they know it... I am SO EXCITED!!!

You got a free saw and I got one, wow we must be brothers or something. 😂
Enjoy this super gift, Husqvarna well done. 👍
Nice saw, I just got a new 550XP. The 562 is the only one I haven't got, got the 3120,592,585,572. Got to love the Huskys 👍
Thank you for sharing this Buckin. Thank you Husqvarna for recognizing a man that sincerely loves your chainsaws. Congrats Buckin. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
Taz, you are 100% correct! This man has always been extremely clear about how he feels about Husqvarna. He is indeed the reason I went the Husqvarna route myself.
Used to own a Husqvarna. I just used it around my Dads and for small jobs. It was a 16 inch bar. Again small stuff. But it ran great!
I had 3 of them ,,they blew up at 152 hours,155 hours and 157 hours ,,crank bearings go on them ,,switch to Echo ,,2 yrs running the same saw
You mean on the mkii?
Have a 562 and 28" 3/8 .050 with a wrap and dogs. Stand up and buck!!!
It was a good sentiment and to have them send you this saw was truly a great thing.
Wow they finally catching up to stihl chain brake on the frame and captive bar nuts wow good for Husqvarna for modernizing there saws finally
Buckin! Hope all is well. You have been a great ambassador to the brand since day one brother. Super cool to see Husky send you that saw!
God I love you, you're such a raw human, just a real good guy. Proud of you and your achievements. I've learned so much from ya!
Love my 562 mark2. It’s a mid sized workhorse and nice to carry into thick brushy areas vs a heavier saw. Once you open it up a bit with a light port and a pipe it is hard to NOT want to grab that saw first
I’m with you on husky’s, 20 years of log home building and 15 years of mobile sawmill business and always a husky!
I’m a stihl guy but right now stihl honestly doesn’t have a model I’d be willing to shell money out for. Been really looking at these 5 series saws for the last few months. Maybe not the lightest saws but they look like winners. Love your content and your faith. Please don’t ever change
to Late for changin' somethings now brother ... evoling perhaps ... love ya.
Do you know what the difference between the regular 562xp vs mark II
I’ve run the C83 chain and it’s a cutter. I like that chain.!
Is it made in China? It looks a bit like Trilink chain....
A huge thank you to Husqvarna for their generous gift and for putting their trust in you. And to Christine for organizing it all 🙏❤️
You're going to enjoy the heck out of this, and so will we.
And Husqvarna will get an honest, well-educated review. Doesn't get any better!
I'm looking forward to seeing where you can go with this ☺️🌳🌲💗
All in good time ...
Its about fricken time Husqvarna!
Wooooohooooo Buckin 🤩 ya look like a believing youngster on Christmas morning 🙌 glad to see you being supported bt the industry 😁 stoked for you Billy and big thanks to Husqvarna for giving you big love! 🫶
Aloha brother
Super nice saw Buckin! Enjoy the little saw with tons of power!🤩🤩
I like the c85 best out of the box chain I have run. The gold joiner link is a great start and end point for sharpening. It has minimal stretch and mine has lasted better than any before. It keeps a great profile with a round file if sharpen only the top plate for the duration of the original gullet.
I had a older one in Alaska when they first came out and loved it ! Looking forward to getting my hands on this new one! Looks like a ripper!!
I am short enough that I can truly stand up and buck with a 28"
As you deal with some shoulder injuries, this saw will surely have a place for you. I find that it is a wonderful, smooth saw with lots of power for how compact it is and it has just ruined me from running most other saws. Mine is not even the Mark ii by the way.
You are 100% correct on the build quality. I am finding that their balance of size, weight and compactness is my favorite package. Congratulations and thank you Husqvarna for sending this to Buckin as he has influenced many purchases over his years on YT even mine.
itll be heavy with the husky light as well . their not light . Go stihl bar brother .
Thank you! @@BuckinBillyRaySmith
I love my Husky, my dad bought some cheap Poulans as back up and truck saws, didn't realize they were made by Husky as well. For a loose, cheap saw those run like a scalded cat.
Not made by Husky, but owned by Husky...actually, Poulan makes some of Husky's low-end consumer saws, usually the 2 cheapest models they offer....
I bought my first Husqvarna a few weeks ago, the 460, it's the best thing I've ever used. Wish I got one earlier.
just bought my first chainsaw and its a husqvarna mark II! I'm loving it so far. easy to opperate and handle and cuts like butter.
And, thx for your content, your saw chain sharpening expertise has changed everything, for the good.
Can't wait to see you run it with a full wrap and a muffler mod.
that saw is quick.....thanks for sharing. I like Stihl but there is always room for another saw......lol. thanks for sharing.
Very nice of them to do that! I like the C85 chain… cuts really well straight out of the box… I’m interested to see how you resharpen it as using a round file will change the shape of the grind… 👍🏻
Very nice description. and smaller the wood , longer the bar is really cool.
I have a 565XP auto tune with a 28” bar and I love it. I’ve put the 28” bar on my 61 and it’s great!
That's awesome Buckin Billy! You should be a Husqvarna representative or engineer for them atleast! You definitely know all about them. That's the saw I've been thinking about purchasing myself. Awesome videos!!
I want it just in the 24" inch. Let me know how you like it?
I’m a Stihl only fan but happy to see Husky pull through with that for you.
Thx
That's my work saw but mine a little older. Funny mine has a decomp on it but you don't need it. Good solid working saw.
And with the husky that you have to get it updated every so often like the sthil 500 i
Billy thanks for showing what a stock saw can do. I know you liked them warmed over.
i really like those c85 chains when cutting hard wood, they cut nice for a nice price, few bucks cheaper as stihl rs chains
I think of new chains like the one at 11:40 as if they were tavern puzzles. You get quicker over time! lol.
i have the 572 and love it , i"am looking to get a pipe for it but cant find any in Canada ca you help?
soon
Buddy good for you! I've personally been running a 562 since 2018 and habe loved it.
