Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Mark King, the best bass player ever, and the nicest most funny down to earth guy you could ever have the pleasure to meet. All together, Level 42 is a fantastic outfit ... Great guys, amazing musicians , still going to this day ❤
Mark King is my second favorite bass player behind Geddy Lee:) Mark is a monster! Great singer as well.
Level should have been huge. Top tier musicianship, funk, jazz, and top 40 hooks. They got some commercial recognition, but they would be stadium sellers in an alternate universe.
I think they were much, much bigger in n the UK and Europe than in the US. I had a roommate in 1992 that had lived in London. I was going through her record collection and found all these albums I didn’t even know existed! Went down that rabbit hole! ❤ She had the Live at Wembley tape, which blew my mind. Here I thought they only had two albums! 🤷♀️
Couldn't agree more, they were a incredibly underrated band
Love Level 42!!!
Didnt realize how deep the lyrics went. Good song. Always liked this one.
Mike Lindup doesn’t get enough love and credit IMO. The extended video version of this song is worth checking out, particularly because Mike steals the video with his dancing while at the same time just killing it on keyboard/synths and taking the vocal lead midway through the song. My favorite Level 42 song.
I was working at the design agency doing the sleeves for this album... fantastic to hear the tunes ahead of the rest of the world :-)
I designed the picture-disc vinyl for this single
Wow!! Lucky you...and great work!😊
Nice! You made my Freshman year of college a fabulous one! I am really into album art. I actually worked as a graphic artist for about 8 years before moving over to the music industry. It’s all connected! ❤
😎😎😎🍹🍹
This was a hit!!! Love Level 42. Great reaction and you really enjoy it.
One of my favorites.
Regards from Chile! 🙂
My FAVORITE Level 42 song.
My goodness, I got so happy seeing you react to this song with such great emotions, when I was young I didn’t pay much attention to the lyrics, they are beautiful 🎼💖 Love Level 42♥️♥️
Another great track from Level 42 - Heaven in My Hands 1988
Shawn loves the English Beats 👍🏴🏴🇬🇧
So glad you enjoyed this, Shawn!😊 Fantastic reaction, as always! I've loved this song so much ever since I first heard it as a teenager in 1986. It's the opening song of 'Running in the Family,' which is one of my favorite albums of all time. It sounds even better on vinyl😊 RIP Rowland "Boon" Gould♥(guitarist and one of the writers of this song...he died in 2019).
Love it! Keep it up. Many more treasures here with Level 42!
I'm going back to the 80's..who's coming with me?? ❤
Love this song and your appreciation of it.
Please do running in the family next.
It's Over is another banger from this record.
Their song Love Games is really cool too
Classic! Hope you check out next their "Children Say", "To Be With You Again", and "Two Solitudes".
Try Running in thr Family, and Something about you , brilliant 👏🏻
Level 42 will be performing in Singapore on Sept 26 this year.....
Please please watch the live performance of Lessons in Love from rhe 1989 Prince's Trust Rock Gala! I promise you'll absolutely love it.
Yes-- great suggestion!
Leaving me know & Its Over are 2 great tracks, try not to let them pass you by 😁
Level 42 is another band I followed extensively, buying everything I could find. Next up definitely check out the extended version of Hot Water, it's another similar ear delight! Also: Weave Your Spell, Micro-Kid and World Machine. Level 42 is amazing!
Do you have a favorite Level 42 drummer? Gould, Husband, or Biggin?
Not really, they all do a great job@@carlgibbons5777
React to Heaven in my hands. A Funk Rock masterpiece
Check out “it’s over” by them that track breaks your heart!
Great video. You're infectious. You have me deep in the night, smiling. Thanks for the looks at the lyrics
As much as youve enjoyed these guys, you need to check out The Style Counsel - My Ever Cahanging Mood.
Amazing band and this is my favorite song of theirs. I wasn`t always crazy about the 80`s sound at the time but this band were a definite stand out, for me at least.
