I actually enjoyed this game, I had the PS2 version and honestly I loved it. Might just be me though...

I owned the PS2 and Xbox version. The newer gen imo was better..interior and more bodykits and customizations. I recall making all the cars from Fast and the Furious. The handling in the game was iffy though. I also got this game for the emulator for PSP and PS2 on my phone

Yeah Xbox Seems way better than PS2 PS2 version grew old on me when I seen the Xbox version yeah it’s better more customization yes more race tracks and more cars plus you can customize your character and your character talks just like the other drivers yet you can do anything on the plate while the drivers only put their first name as the plate

The handling model for RWDs is still bizarre and overexaggerated but it's manageable and not a complete mess like the first game. Drifting is actually more manageable than one would initially think if effective brake and throttle work is put in.
The roster is good too, with a nice balance between Japanese tuners, European hot hatches, classic and modern muscle cars, and exotics.
Customization is also nice too, in fact I even managed to recreate the Most Wanted M3 GTR livery. Sort of. Maybe I'll go revisit this game and attempt to make D1GP-styled liveries.

The first game 4WD cars were way too OP. Got the perfect launch, never spun out and the best at drag racing. On the second game it's the muscle cars that are OP.

I don't get the hate. Juiced just felt like it was all over the place to me with it's clunky handling even during drifting while Juiced 2 makes it easier to control and the drifting, to me, is what that's fun and made Juiced 2 what it is.

You know how when people stop playing a game for a long time and they forget how to play it properly so now they suck at it? Juiced 1 was that kind of game, except that instead of "not playing for a long time", it's "not playing the game for a couple of days." The handling is so difficult to get used to that you have to play the game constantly to be consistent in your driving skills, unlike games like Most Wanted 2005 which you can stop playing for a decade but still be good at it when you go back to playing it
He is hating because let's face it when original NFS came.out he was 2 years old. So for him Underground 1 and 2 is what true NFS is. That is his benchmark. I personally think he is not qualified to comment because you have to include is whole history

I was ridiculously good at this game. I thought it was awesome and once you get used to the handling and drifting then it is really fun. You can't hate a game because you suck at it. One of the most fun games for drifting at the time of its release. And it's graphics aren't gonna be awesome. It's an older game.

i once had juiced 2 for the PSP and well, the visual customization is odd but the game itself is sometimes satisfying to play when you have a bad day

I used to love juiced 2 it had the progression and to me infinite customisation options and I loved the drift handling hand-braking it into the corners to boost your nitrous .If you put a tuner company logo on your car you got discounts on parts. The weirdest thing that annoyed me was when you wanted to change the number plates anything that was remotely offensive you couldn’t have. I did a gran Torino and as a nod to starskys striped tomato I tried to put the reg number as zebra 3 but couldn’t have it as it had BRA in it.

In my opinion, it was a good game. You actually have an objecive. Cars were limited, but customization was epic. I rate it a 8.5/10
cars were limited in what way? beacuse if its selection i cant agree. juiced 2 has more cars in it than nfs 2015. and i say even more than heat. i dnt count two versions of the same car as two cars. which is what nfs likes to do to artificially boost numbers
