If you turn the sfx volume to 0, you won’t get off rhythm when you miss a note. That’s because it gets rid of the hitting the block sound and the miss note sound, so you won’t know you missed a note, makes you a lot better at the game
But if you know you can't defenitive hit the spot, try ignore these points and get your focus on th following ones. A little practice and it's a good tactic for the beginning.

That was good, I always get 1021 blocks out of the 1050 (consistently). Great song but some parts feel off or I would just end up entangling my hands. :D
Q to the people who know beat Saber very well What are the "slice" notes (if that even the right name for) I kinda have the general idea of some the mechanics of it but don't know "slice" notes
I believe you mean the ones in the chorus, you basically glide the saber along with the line and hit the one on the other end but I might be wrong I’m not a big beat saber nerd I just play for fun but that’s how’ve they have worked in my time playing 🤷
I don't know if you want tips but if you do you should try using your wrists more, it gives way more score and helps hitting jumps/fast streams. Still a nice play tho :)

I know it gives more score, but it doesn't really work for me because the sabers hit the others boxes, and my wrist is weak, I can do some Expert + levels but I can't do a lot of them because I'm getting exausted after
