Great video, thanks! Would love a video analysis of how teams frustrate zones, or maybe one looking at exiting the backline after a behind. Love the vids!
Hi guys, these videos are great! Just wondering if you could explain how they determine a clearance on the stat sheet? Like, at what point is the ball considered ‘cleared’? I have an idea of this but like most afl things there’s a lot of interpretation...
Good stuff! I wish analysis like this was on free to air TV (are there things like this on pay TV?) I think a proper analysis show would be invaluable to many footy fans. I see this kind of content on Yoututbe in regards to soccer (football) and it is really eye-opening and has helped me (a life long Aussie Rules fan) to appreciate the round ball game. Anyways, great job keep it up!
Great Video Need more vids like this out there. Special commentators during games are supposed to provide this but often get caught up using jargon and not being specific. My one suggestion would be to maybe include footage from games to back up the concepts. Not sure of the legality of something like that or if it will fit with your asthaetic.
Yeah don’t get us started on the tv coverage… Time and Space by James Coventry is a really interesting history of footy tactics. ABC sport do some really interesting analytical articles from time to time as well.
2 topic I can think of, first in 2018 port Adelaide tagged Alex Rance with Trengove. Although the first half it worked I want to know what Ken Hinkley was specifically try to accomplish. The second one was the rush behinds and the rule brought in to combat it and how teams (Richmond / Hawthorn) would use rush behinds to their advantage.
Bruh i just started playing my first season and these are so helpful to translate what the coach is talking about
I love the Paddy Ryder and Robbie Gray teamup drawing, what an excellent reference to a mind blowing moment!
Love the video, and the detailed analysis. Thanks!
So simple but so great ! Every young player should watch this

Love the vids!
Do Defensive 50 Rebounds next please, these are fantastic
Glad to hear your'e enjoying the content! spread the word and we'll get working on rebound 50's ;)
Absolutely brilliant / Love one on kickout options after a minor score
great idea! hadn't had this one requested yet
The AFL should be employing you to make these videos, they are great!
Hahaha maybe one day! Thank you :)
Noooo...its great the way it is. AFL would mess with it.

Thanks for the support! we have plenty more planned. Any topics you'd like to see us explore?
Maybe the role of a winger?
Or perhaps cover some iconic game plans eg) Richmond 2017 or the Hawks in 2011
excellent video
Hi, love these videos. Can you recommend any afl strategy, tactics or gameplan resources? Struggling to learn from watching on TV...
Thanks!

Some great suggestions here! Can see both of these featuring down the track
Could you do one on taggers
Great content! Can you please do one on the top 3-5 stats that are measured for offense/defense positions?
Thanks Dianna. We have plenty more backline videos planned in the future so we'll make sure some key stats make their way into the script :)
Footy A2Z Yay! Thank you!
Can you do a video about attacking zones please.
Forward line setups is in the works
Half back flanker
What AFL team do you go for?
Planning a Q&A somewhere down the track, All will be revealed in due time ;)
Guesses just for fun?
Hawthorn?
Footy A2Z Carlton
@@FootyA2Z late as hell, but I would think Carlton based lesser known players like TDK and Kennedy being featured in the vids
