so you jump across toilet to get out, take towel bar off on inside door and put a small handle on so you can easily open left inside door.

Some kind of plastic that was 40-50 years ago.
It is very thin, similar to the one glued to the countertops. Nobody does that now.

Дом на продажу, поэтому заменили. Старые неотмыть от пятен воды.

Тоже чернеет. Зависит от качества воды в районе и как часто ухаживают, моют хозяева ванные, душевые.
Для того чтоб не чернел,нужно наносить антибактериальный силикон..а не обычный..он чуток дороже...

This is not instructional. What kind of saw Blade. You did not have to cut the sides. You did not strip screws using drill?!!! My side rails stick up past fiberglass shower insert. I will have to fill in the gap above the top rail sides.🤭🤫
I thought everyone understood that if they are cutting aluminum, they should use a blade to cut steel or non-ferrous metal.
Read the instructions - never cut the side rails. Or just thought for a couple of seconds - if you cut the side shorter, then you need to cut the glass panel ;-)
As you can see, I used plastic anchors. By the way, the screws will not be damaged if you pre-drill the material with a smaller drill bit.
I once installed a door in the same plastic cabin as yours - I mean aluminum side rails that were higher and stuck into the air. This is only a cosmetic problem - water never gets into this place. The owner says they don't care about it.

Безвкусица. Рамы широкие, нет ощущения красоты и дизайна. Комплектующие сплошной шлак. Лучше один раз заплатить за настоящее качество, чем пользоваться штамповкой. Дизлайк не ставлю, потому что чел трудился и снял красиво.
Стандартная дверь. Стены 80х годов не расчитаны на дизайнерские стекла. Здесь обязательно нужна перемычка сверху.
Да и дом сам не ахти какой, чтоб люди тратили тысячи на дверь.
