Hi everyone,
I can't believe i'm sitting down talking to you all about Potty Training - I was literally dreading this moment for months haha. But no seriously, its actually been okay and I am here today to explain my whole experience so far and how we're getting on.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, mistakes, and insights. I'm really glad I watched this before I began the potty training journey with my twins. I have been so eager to start and was also planning to take a very casual, "I'll figure it out" approach (including just buying 1 potty... and not reading Oh Crap), but I'm re-thinking everything and putting the breaks on starting them this week! You've likely saved my sanity - thank you, thank you.

I love when I pick up one of these "must read" zeigeisty parenting books and flip to the index and see zero mention of twins or multiples. 😑 My boys are a few months behind yours but very much appreciate the insight you have when it comes to parenting twins. xo

Well done Natalie and stick with it as it will be worth it. Admittedly I potty trained my 3 (single babies) a long time ago, but personally I think putting them on the potty every half hour is very excessive and if you child is likely to have an aversion to the potty, frequently putting them on it will make that worse - just my opinion. There wasnt really much about potty training when I did it, but we wear recommended to put training pants on them and loose trousers (pants). Worked pretty well with mine and just went through it at their pace and they soon picked it up. Also no sweet treats for doing it, we just celebrated them which worked. When they were toilet trained I took them shopping so they could choose their own underwear x
