- Here's a few links for my favorite credit cards. I try to check the links often, but let me know if there is a problem. If they change the offer on the card, I may need to update the link. Full disclosure, I get a few airline miles for referring a new customer. You should get the same public offer at no additional cost. Thank you very much.

Going to KL for the first time this weekend and this was a great video for what to expect going from the airport to the city! Thanks for uploading!
Glad it was helpful
Excellent guide for new arrivals, well done!🤙🏼
Thanks. I'm a Bangkok guy. I just showed what I saw. Hopefully, it helps someone not jump straight in a car. That's OK too, but not because you don't understand the train
Thank you for the informative video! I'm going in October and didnt realize how long the commute was to my hotel from the airport! definitely helpful!
Have a great trip. It's a nice city, but it's a ways from the airport
Malaysia rank no 1 for most visited country in South East Asia from Jan to October 2023 with 26 million tourist came to Malaysia....
It's a nice place to visit. I live in Bangkok today. I'll be back to Malaysia soon.
I was planning to visit for New Year's Eve but I saw that fireworks have been cancelled since COVID 3 years ago and nobody from th tourism centre in Malaysia replied to me when I asked if there will be fireworks for New Year's Even this year.
Actually there is cheaper option from KLIA to KLCC or KL Sentral. Because Malaysia already have integrated train system.
Just choose the KLIA Transit to Putrajaya, (cost just 9.40RM) then continue by MRT To Persiaran KLCC (cost around 3-4RM). there you go you arrived at KLCC Petronas Twin Tower just for 13RM, way more cheaper than straight from KLIA to KL Sentral that cost 55RM
That is a good tip. I'll check that out when I'm back in KL. Living in Bangkok, I'll be back often
Excellent!
@@LB-ty6ks Have a great trip
Very useful, thanks a lot !
Thank you for watching
Hey thanks a lot for the informative video. May you pls suggest some hotel near to KLCC and KL train station so we can take train for site seeings etc. my main concern is to catch train whenever going to explore the beautiful city. Appreciate your efforts.
Thanks for watching. I'm sorry I've only been to KL once. I'm from California but I live in Bangkok. There is a lite rail and monorail in KLCC. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. A show the area in a KL playlist. It was 1 block from the monorail and a short walk to the tourist area of Buket Bintang. I probably spelled that wrong
Thank you!!🙏
Thank you very much
Good informative video, thanks
Thanks for watching. I moved to Bangkok. Plenty of SE Asia videos to come
Nice train
I agree, It's a good way to get to town
Thanks for the KL train walkthrough. I've been considering hopping over next week but might end up going next year instead. Would you say you found KL walkable? I'm looking to start my new year in a new city, going for morning runs and exploring the city on foot. I did a little Google Streetview exploring and it looks very heavy on wide roads.
KL is worth a visit, but it's a little more spread out between areas. It's best to use the monorail and the above ground train. There are areas that have many paces to eat and drink, and then nothing more another few blocks. check out my KL Playlist. I showed most of the tourist areas. I was there for the Moto-GP. The track is about 20km outside of town. Near the airport
W residence on Air BNB, w Hotel,Traders Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Hotel,Impiana KL, Corus Hotel(cheaper and smaller hotel as well as de King Hotel-Old and no facilities but also cheap and good view at Petronas Tower if you request for the view). Metro is on Ave K (connected to KLCC too). Pls note there are Metro,LRT and monorail. There are RM$1 RapidKL buses in front of KLCC boarding/alighting opp Ave K loop to major tourists spots.
Nice. Good info. KL and Singapore are way more advanced for transport than Aussie cities (newer) imo. And of course in Malaysia lots of english spoken. Love the food. And not as expensive as Singapore. Nice transit stop. Big hub.
Yes, it's a nice, easy system. I just came back from Australia. Sydney had a nice train. Melbourne, I used the sky bus. I'm from San Diego. We don't have either at the airport. Same with LAX. It's 2023, and they are just building a train for the Olympics. We totally rely on cars in California. It's crazy. Then complain about traffic. It's crazy. Thanks for watching
Hi, thanks for this. Did they ask for a covid vaccination certificate? thanks!
This was 6 months ago, but no. A few airlines may ask. Phillipines wanted a certificate or negative test 3 or 4 months ago.
What is the best time to visit Malaysia and thailand between jan to dec,two countries are visa free for indians,
You'll have to Google Malaysia. I live in Bangkok. Dec is best here
Last week aerotrains faced a problems. That's why

Ok, thanks for watching
Why do you say convention center instead of city center?
This article will show you the best way to travel to KLCC from KL Sentral. Suria KLCC Shopping Mall and Petronas Twin Tower are a must-visit landmark for tourists. KLCC stands for Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre where exhibitions are held throughout the year.Sep 17, 2561 BE
The above quote is from Wikipedia
KLCC stands for Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. A 120,000 meter building where the train stations meet. City Center is maybe 10 square miles. There isn't a City Center train stop. There are 10 stations (?) in the City Center. There is only one (on each train) Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) station.
If you jump in a cab and say take me to KL City Center that could be anywhere in a very large area. It might be 10 or 15 blocks from the Convention Center. If you get on a train or jump in a cab and say KL Convention Center you will be within a block of where you need to go. If you ask to go to KLCC, you will go to KL Convention Center.
If you want to go to the train station downtown, that's KLSS. Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station. I did mess up and on the thumbnail I wrote riding the train from the airport to KLLC. I meant KLCC, like the video showed. Airport to KLSS and then get on a train to KLCC, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center
Very informative video, so my plane arrives after midnight, doesn't he metro operate 24/7 from the airport? And is it save to travel at this time ? Or it's better to take grab or airport taxi..thanks man
Thanks for watching. No train from Midnight until 5am. I would take a Grab car> If you get in early, run down there. It's safe at any hour
Safe? You must be an American 😂😂😂😂
You can sleep in the airport lol, nobody will kill you.
Dear sir, excellent information for New comers, me Indian, following your channel, please explain how to go after immigration to klia transit A platform , how much time required, please sir
I'm sorry. I have no idea. I live in Bangkok. I just made a few videos in Kuala Lumpur
❤
Thank you
Hi, thanks a lot for your video
Please how many bags we can take with us in this train? Because we are family and we have four bags 28".
Thanks a lot
I don't think there is a rule on bags. Most people had a suitcase or large backpack. It should not be a problem
Yes, there is no limitation on baggage on KLIA Express Train.
Can i tap the niyo global debit card or fi debit card at train station? Or given at counter, please explain
I have no idea what those cards are. I live in Bangkok. I'd take them to the counter. Have a good trip
Thanks for the video. Can you pay the second time with credit card? I mean, the single ticket? You pay with cash, but is it possible to pay with credit card? Do they have numbers on the trains or are they by names or colors? Because on the maps I found that the line that you took from KL Sentral to KLCC would be number 5, but I didn't see anything in what you showed about a number 5. Thanks in advance
I think I paid with a credit card. The stations are called out in English
@@EagerExpat Thanks!
@@bizcochodulce Thanks for watching
Almost every Malaysian knows English because it's in the schools syllabus. It's also one of the most important subject.
Yes, it was all English. I ive in Bangkok. I'd say it's 90% English in most of Bangkok too.
Take the train in the aftrenoon, the taxi took two hours
It's a long way. Maybe 18k. Mix in traffic, that's a real hassle
Enjoy your time in Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾
Thanks I did. I'll return soon
HOW FAR IS KL SENTRAL TO THE PACIFIC HOTEL REGENCY AND SUITES???
I'm not sure. Google will tell you
Hello there. Thanks a lot for sharing the video with us. just one query please. At the KLEXPRES ticket booth, did they accept payment with your credit card, or was it cash only?
I used my US Visa card. I saw others using a phone swipe. There's also Atm machines to get some local cash. Plus I think I saw money exchange booths. Not sure how late they stay open. I'd guess 8 or 9pm. Thanks for watching
@@EagerExpat Thank you very much for the kind reply. Much appreciated.
What is the cheapest way to reach city centre from airport ? Are there train passes ?
I don't know what a train pass is. You want a monthly pass? I'm sure that's available. I just bought a round trip ticket
I have few questions. Is it mandatory to use mask in Kuala Lumpur ? Does the train at the airport use the same ticket on the trains and subways in the city center? Is it sold for 1 week public transport ticket for transportation in the city center?
Masks are not mandatory. I'm not sure if there is a shared card for the trains. I was just visiting and bought individual tickets. Like most places in the world, I'm sure you can buy a card and load money for the train. In Hong Kong, one card does it all. Here in Bangkok, we have a separate card for the overhead train and another for the subway. They have different owners. I'm not sure how KL does. I wouldn't worry for a week visit. There is plenty of ticket booths
@@EagerExpat thank you so much for spending valuable time to answering 🙋♂️
@@OpptimusPrime1 No problem. Thanks for watching. I would appreciate a thumbs up. That helps me with UA-cam. Today I live in Bangkok. Check out some videos. I'll bet you'll want to visit Bangkok.
Do they take Cards or cash only ?
They took both. Thanks for watching
No classes.. all the same becoz short trip
Yes it's a decent train. Thanks for watching
Eager expat, they were probably “ripping the bags apart for prohibited goods. Too all other travellers, don’t take this lightly, you will find yourselves in trouble.
Yes, that can happen at any airport in the world. Don't carry anything crazy in your bag. Hiding something in the deodorant stick doesn't work. The dog will find it
which terminal did you arrive to?
In KL airport? I'm not sure. The International terminal from Thailand. But, it looked like the train was between the international and domestic terminal. It's clearly marked. If your asking where I went, I took the train the KL Convention Center
