In most cases that doesn't happen unless the facility knows that the person is actually dead.... Because up until the last second of the auction, they have the ability to pay their bill and get their stuff back and it happens a lot.... More than a few times i've been watching a locker for multiple days for just to disappear.... So if someone's rummaging around in there three days before the auction and the people buy back, that's a little suspect... I'm not saying it doesn't happen but I think it happens a lot less than most people think it does
