Melnik is the smallest town in Bulgaria. It is a proclaimed cultural-historical reserve and a museum-town. It combines nature and rocks flocked around the houses perching on hills, history, culture and wine.
Melnik is a compact wine region that packs a long history and culture of winemaking. Arguably the most organized and visitor-friendly wine region in Bulgaria at the moment, Melnik has 18 Bulgarian wine producers and 15 key landmarks with historical, cultural or natural significance.
