Interesting... if i figure out car camping over getting this Mini camper cargo trailer build set up, I won't be able to take my Bambino plus so this seems pretty spiffy
It makes a lot more shots if you use already heated water. Maybe up to 10 shots. But that kind of defeats the purpose of the portability. Anyway, you can charge it in your car, but it will take forever. You ideally want a fast charger with good amperage throughput.
Great video. Where is that beautiful location? You prepared and tamped the coffee pretty much exactly the way I do it right now, with no WDT. I love that you showed all of grinding, tamping, and cleanup. The tamper sticking is the same as my tamper that came with my Flair. I suspect that it comes from being too thin at the sides. I have similar issues if the width of the tamper is either slightly too great or slightly too small. BTW I've used several tampers, and the best by far (only endgame) of the 9 that I have used is the MHW-3BOMBER 58.35mm. If I had used that first, I would not have tried another tamper as I would have had no reason to do so.
Thanks for posting your experience! Yes, I think the walls are too strongly tapered for the tamper to not get a little bit stuck. But I don’t really mind. I prefer that over leaving coffee powder around the edges of the basket. It’s a pretty nice little set for the price. I’m going to have to try the 58.35 mm tamper you’re talking about. :-)
@@TomsCoffeeCorner It occurred to me overnight that you are reviewing a travel setup, so my comments about tampers is irrelevant to the video. None of my tampers would be what I would want for travel as they are significantly heavy.

Awesome video, question - does the plus accessory kit replace the parts on the Outin Nano as far as all of it fitting together to carry by itself, or do you have to find somewhere else to put the plus accessory kit and have to travel with it on the go separately ?
You can carry it with the Plus kit installed, and leave the rest at home, or you can bring it all with. The Kit comes with the basket holder, basket, shower screen, tamper and funnel, so that's all you need.
I have a problem with the básquet plus I try with my timemore c3s max grinder from 6 to 9 clicks an the coffee Goes like filtered without cream any suggestions?
Hi Tom, I am having a very challenging time finding the right grind settings for a dark roast using kinggrinder k6. I tried 70 clicks and I can barely pull a shot. Also are you supposed to tamper on top of dosing ring or not? I’ve seen most videos tampering on top
@@4leafclover243 if the machine is choking, I would suggest opening the grind by another 10 clicks. Adjust accordingly. No, I don’t tamp too hard. I like to remove the dosing ring to tamp, as I find it easier to insert and remove.

I have this. But to be honest, it's not as good as expected. You have to take all your ground coffee with you and probably water, and then the coffee all gets stuck in the basket . It's a bit of a mess. I had issues with the magnets on my dossing funnel as they fell out. On paper, it looks ok, but in reality, it's a bit of a novelty that I have only used twice in 4 months.

I believe you are supposed to tamp it down with the funnel collar still in place. That might make it easier to use.
I got it a month ago and it’s awesome. Totally different coffee using this basket vs the one that comes with it. It makes a quality shot. Love it.

what diameter size is the basket plus? can it be swap out with open back basket like ims basket

It's the same size, it just has a different screw collar and basket installed.
