How to Measure Energy Meter Deviation/Error with Clamp Power Meter (Manual Calculation VS Automatic)

Electricity theft is one of the big problems faced by PT PLN (Persero) as a provider of electrical energy in Indonesia.
One form of electricity theft is by modifying the electricity meter or Kwh Meter. To detect anomalies or errors on the KWh meter, it can be done using a Clamp Power Meter which is equipped with current (Amperes), Voltage (Volt), Power (Watt) and Power Factor readings.
This video will show you how to calculate the Energy Meter deviation/ error using 2 methods, as follow:
1. Manual calculation of the use of Clamp Power Meter with the help of tools in the form of a stopwatch or/and a computer/laptop (Excel application).
2. Direct detection of Energy Meter errors with the embedded electric theft detection feature (Proprietary Technology By Hioki CM3286 Clamp Power Meter).

karena dihitung per 10 Wh, maka untuk kwh meter dengan LED, diperlukan 11 kedipan. sedangkan untuk kwh meter piringan, dibutuhkan 10 putaran.

Kalau di P2TL, arti minus (-) berarti PLN yang rugi karena kWh meter berputar melambat dari yang seharusnya.
