It is amazing how you run a lot of hours on those wild roads and don't see wilds animals so much. I love riding with you , I love nowhere trips. Thanks and have a good day.
Judging by how much the hood of your truck is bouncing around, and having driven on similar roads many times, I'd say your camera holder is a WINNER! You must feel beat up by that road! It is beautiful country, for sure! Thanks for taking us along! It is beautiful country, for sure! 💖
I remember, as a kid in Pennsylvania, the awesome smells when in the woods and by the river. The quietness of walking in the snow, during Winter. Memories are the one thing that life, that will never leave my mind!
Towards the end the camera really bounced! Hope you didn't bump your head. Nice video. Thank you from an old insomniac. Having grown up on mountain roads, sailing boats in storms, and riding my horse bareback and me backwards thru thicket trails, I'm apparently still immune to motion sickness. So I have vicariously been enjoying wild ride videos of those sorts. Yours are quite fun!
I would love to live down a road like that, you know the people that live there enjoy the privacy and beauty. The crappy road would certainly be worth the trade off. 💚💚💚
I wish I had such a street to my home. It means silence and freedom and no crazy neighbors or annoying relatives, no disturbing noises, free animals, … this is heaven … 🤗 Thanks for taking us with you, on this perfect road! I like it to be your passenger, and listening to you. Sometimes you help me get to sleep, cause it‘s so relaxing😄 All the best for you, stay save and have fun🍀
You really wouldn't want a road in this condition going to your house. Ever. Seclusion is one thing, conditions are another. Think about how long car trips would take, mileage, distance from utilities & services, the cost of having service brought out to your area. C'mon.
@@ThunderTheBlackShadowKitty Until 4 years ago I lived with such a road für about 15 years. If I had could afford this farm longer, I would go back yesterday. It‘s more healthy than the the city. I’m living now in the city, and I hate it.
@@lightwavzOnce again, that is not the point. The point is the terrible road conditions. It forces you to drive slowly and it kills your MPG, and it's the worst nightmare you can imagine if you're in an emergency. You don't want a road like this. Ever.
@@BibianeMandelbaumNo, you wouldn't. The road conditions would force you to drive slowly and kill your MPG. This long deteriorating road is a nightmare if you're ever in an emergency. Hello Everyone. Maybe they own the land and just don't want to deal with other people. Especially like people knocking on doors trying to sell you something. Everyone have a good day.
If I was you, I'd get some heavy duty shocks for your truck. They take much of the road deviations and make a smoother ride. They cost a lot but they're worth it to me.
My brother in laws road reminds me of a dry creek bed. Nobody pays their road dues so the road isn't maintained. Our roads are maintained and sometimes looks like that..especially after a hard rain.
A friend of mine lived on a road in Florida that was getting worse and worse every time it rained. The tracks were getting so bad that if you did not straddle them by driving with your left wheels on the center and the right wheels on the side, your vehicle would bottom out. I told them they needed to fix it and they just laughed and told me to buy a pickup truck. A few weeks later, UPS refused to deliver to their house if they did not fix the road. They got together with their neighbors and threw some gravel in the worst parts, but the last I heard, it only took about six months for it to become impassable by most vehicles.
Well, with all the jostling and bouncing and everything going on, I too would have had to make a pit stop to check the tires for air leaks lol cool video Post 10
Wildfire smoke has been really really bad here for the past two days. I keep looking outside to see if the neighbor down on the farm are burning the trash pile! I'm in Lancaster county Pennsylvania.
You average 70s in the summertime? Brrr that's not even warm to me Post! In southern Louisiana our summer average is 90s and its comfy to me. Humidity can easily push it over 100F or even 110F. We're in the top 5 hottest states year round. I don't get how you can deal with anything below freezing. Love your videos and remember, plastic pipes are TERRIBLE!
When I was a kid, I used to wonder what a guy like that remote cabin person did for a living to support himself out there, but there are so many off grid people and people with remote jobs that it is very possible now a days.
Sooo your saying I probably shouldn’t bring my Camaro on those roads? Oh well, probably for the best! 😂 I cringe, and tell New Truck I’m sorry everytime you run over those bad parts on the roads, not to mention that Im lost and I’m not even driving! Idk how you remember where you are when all those roads look a lot alike and half of ‘em cross over or take you in one big circle! As always, thanks for the ride along! I❤️Post10!!!
That smog is not the same one as before. Quebec has been getting the same rain as main lately and it really helped to control the wild fires! Now the smoke you see is actually coming all the way from western canada! We get a lot of it up on the great lakes, so thick some days I could look at the sun with binoculars without any issue! Crazy!! Nice video! Wish I could go offroading too!
I always carry MREs and I have at least one gallon of water at all times but I have the equipment I can purify unlimited since it's highly unlikely I won't be able to find it in New England
Yes I do but I haven't found a good reason to use it yet, unless I was going down a steep Rocky Hill or up a steep Rocky Hill it doesn't seem like it would be good on flat land even with rocks
Absolutely beautiful! I hope in my next life I get to live in a place like this. I wonder if the lack of maintenance is to keep the FIPs (Foreign Idiot People) out?
No I will not because there are people who will go to these places and cause vandalism and get hurt on certain structures. Unless it is a known public place I don't say where these things are because people are a-holes
I like your big high truck. Wish I could sit in the other seat and ride shot gun with ya. This is the kind of thing I do. I'm in the Brookfields, just a couple minutes off of Rt. 9; not far from your original stomping grounds.
Rocky roads...Some distance from where I live there is a extremely rocky jeep trail, that is called Parkinson Trail, done that by foot, can only image how it feels in a jeep...

@@DeborahManiscalco I agree. I think he's amazing. Totally addicted to his videos whatever the subject is.
There was only a very few times that the camera shook side to side, but considering the conditions of that road, that’s freaking amazing!

This terrain reminds me of riding my dirtbike with my dad.
Thanks posty for another great ride-along! I miss my 4WD treks in the hills and mountains of eastern Australia.
Roller coaster meet bumpers cars... lol... the beautiful back country driving are the best
I appreciate the image stabilisation Dave, on a 55 inch screen anything shaky cam gives me motion sickness 👊

When the hood of the truck can be seen bobbing up and down, yet the passing scenery hardly bobs, the auto stabilizer works great.
Thanks for the video. Could you please clean the windshield?
Not really, I can get the mud off with the wipers but not the bugs
The other problem with rocky roads is it's a higher chance of getting a tire popped too
My car would have fallen to bits in the first ditch...wow
I love these vlogs!
New vehicle seems to be handling those roads quite well!
Glad that isnt my suspension.
Love your videos, clearing colverts along with the ride alongside!!!
Sebago Lake, Standish Maine water temperature is 69*F.(about 21*C.) where my cottage is.
From what I've seen of the East, there's alot of country that sure looks similar to the Big Sky, just a lot less people around here.
I keep my road crappy to keep away visitors. That's a useful road
It's the same in central NJ with the smoke, it looks the same here today. Love the rides.🏆🏆

You have to cover a lot of country road to find beaver blocked culverts.
Thanks! Once again, cool talking and driving video.
If you had a whole bunch of pine trees and slippery red clay id say you are in back woods ga
keep these videos up you'll need a bigger truck to hold all of us :P epic video

Thanks Post!
In the background some of those clouds look like they might be from the forest fires in Canada, could be my imagination though.
