This makes me so happy considering my little brother has nonverbal autism. Just to know that people are like this makes me heartbroken. We need more people to understand that they're a human beings to.

Not all autistic people have those issues. I'm autistic and I never had any issues walking up to people and making friends. As far as making emotional connections, you'll learn to do that later on.

I’m about to turn 35 and I still haven’t emotionally connected to anybody yet. It’s hard to explain but I feel very numb in that department. I was honestly very much deprived from socialization from my peers growing up because nobody wanted to be my friend and whenever I did try to make friends with someone I just got laughed at. So eventually one day I just sort of gave up in trying. I’m just so tired of being rejected by everyone, so now I have no idea how to socialize with others because I’ve been deprived for so long. I wish someone could help me, but I’m an adult and there are sadly no adult programs I know of to help me. As usual I’m on my own.

When whenever I see someone get picked just because they have Autism or some other learning disability I get really angry. As an autistic person myself no one should be judged just because we see or interpret things differently. Our views are just a bit more acute than others that’s all and we can live normal and happy lives like everyone else!

@sharerofcontents 2.0 I have a grandson that is autistic. He is the most loving young man I've ever met and I'm not saying this because he's my grandson. He's now 19 years old holds 2 jobs and he's going places. He's a very intelligent young man. Scary smart! He went through bulling in school and it broke my heart. I wish I could have attended school with him to protect him but unfortunately that wasn't allowed. He survived school graduated top of his class. I'm very VERY proud of him. Our family DOES NOT look at autism as a disability we see someone with autism someone we can learn from. My grandson has taught me how to love and care about people the right way. He's taught me patience as well as understanding.

i used to be a bully and many people judge me i soon began to change but no one believed i could change and treated me like garbage soon i let my anger get the best of me and i got into a fight i was expelled from school i soon learned its not too late to change who u are because soon i made new friends in the town i moved too and was able to make many good friends over the years this channel really helped me thank u generation hope

By the way I got Diagnosed when I was 11 and I’m now 19 years Old.
I have it too, but I got a super late diagnosis. I didn’t get diagnosed until just a few years ago and I’m fixing to be 35. I guess I just sort of flew under the radar my whole life. I went through most of my life not knowing I had it. I really wished I had gotten diagnosed as a kid because I know of no adult programs for those with autism. They’re all for teens and kids. Why are there no adult programs? We need help too. I’d like to learn more about autism but I can’t since there’s no programs for a person my age.

@@TheVanishing87 my brother was diagnosed at 17. he was diagnosed the same year i was (i was 10.) i had an early diagnoses and he had a late one. now i’m 18 and he’s 25. he definitely is more social than me but still shows the symptoms. i’ll never forget the time 3 years ago when my sister said to my mom and dad “i wish i had normal siblings!” that has stuck with me for so long and it hurts. sometimes i wish i didn’t have it but sometimes i’m confident

If she has an allergy, shouldn't she be wearing a medic alert bracelet and keep an epi-pen in her bag? My nephew has allergies (egg, dairy and peanuts) and his mother makes sure he has an epi-pen in his schoolbag, for emergencies. He's had a few "episodes" when he's ingested something he shouldn't have, but he's careful most of the time.

My young nephew has autism, he was diagnosed recently, and already he is meeting a lot of people who are treating him negatively because of it!
i have autism as well as my older brother. my sister once screamed at my parents and told them she wishes she had “normal siblings”. that has stuck with me for a while. as for your nephew, you should be there for him as much as you can.

This stuff hits home since people treated me badly because of my handicap I was hardly coordinated & my leg muscles were underdeveloped & people gave me a hard time. Its hard to see some stuff like this sometimes but it does provide a good lesson on how to treat people with respect.
