Hi Maria, great episode! The slipover looks very promising and I like the clean lines of the shoulder construction. It was great to test knit the Wild Sea Hat for you and I love the finished item (even if half fisherman`s rib requires a lot of patience 😅). Most of my yarn stash is stored in open fabric baskets from Ikea and I`ll always put a few poches with lavender in between. It probably would be better to store it in airtight containers, but I really like to have my yarn on display so I can admire it`s beauty 😉.
Thanks so much for your comment. ❤️ I also find it so useful to see all my yarn but I know it’s not the best to keep bugs out. 😖 i should get some more cedar blocks out so too.
I just came across your podcast, I very much enjoyed it. I am currently starting my spring and summer knitting. I am working on a Tolsta Tee in a long sleeve version for spring. I am making it out of Sandes Garn in Duo in cotton/wool. I too am moth wary, I keep all of mine in wooden chests. I also spray cedar oil in the chests, including the cedar chests. It can kind of like shopping, whenever I go through one of the chests; I tend to forget what I have purchased. My stash is too big, but I am emotionally attached to it.
Uhhh I need to have a look at this yarn, haven't seen it yet but it sounds interesting! Do you know Rowan's Summer Lite 4ply? That's one of my favourite summer yarns, it's all cotton but very soft and lovely to knit with. Also, love that going through your stash is like retail therapy! :D
TU for a very interesting episode❤❤❤
