I have been a big Finn fan for years, and I have introduced my gf to his matches too. When I first told her about the "Demon" she thought it was pretty silly but after watching some entrances and matches she was hooked too :D It's always nice to see and hear what fans have in store for this awesome wrestler. Kiitos, friend! I remember hearing about him about two years before he signed with WWE. The first glimpse I got was when he was dressing up as different characters like Bane from Batman. Then I watched some of his matches and thought about how great he’d be in the states. Finally, he debuts that demon persona in NXT with all the paint, and he blew the roof off with an awesome match. He’s easily one of the hardest workers on the roster, and I’m HOPING since HHH is in charge of creative, he’ll be utilized better, and maybe actually get a main roster title run. And hey, my wife still thinks the same as your girlfriend! She has her favorites, but I think she still appreciates the effort he puts in to bringing the demon to life. :) I’m especially happy you enjoyed this cover for him! This definitely is not a flop outstanding job if the demon does get used I would imagine something similar to this gets used plus the slow walk would make the purple and black demon more menacing
If the demon doesn’t come out to protect what’s his, they’re missing an opportunity. I think originally, Vince wanted JD to be supernatural (thus why edge left; he didn’t want that). This stable is an awesome chance to build Finn back up to a major player instead of being lost in the mid card shuffle.
So NitroXplayz2 and CREEPS seem to have the same consensus as a couple friends of mine on Facebook. Currently working on the new remix. It utilizes elements of ALL FOUR of my next target’s themes: second coming, burn it down, Rising, and Visionary. I’ll be as faithful as I can to the source material. Forewarning: it’ll have a few more orchestral elements along with a touch of inspiration from Final Fantasy VI. This means it’s gonna be in a movement-type, meaning the theme will play out over three to four stages. Because of this, you’re either gonna like it or hate it. Taking a gamble on it, and it’s gonna take a bit as I have other commitments to attend to outside of this. This will be… interesting?
It’ll be a bit before I do any more covers. Between working on an original project and the last couple not getting much playtime, it’ll be a bit before I try a cover / mash again. I’ll keep it in mind though!
