      You can get that alarm/remote start off E-bay for around £8 (from china) got one on mine but the remote start and immobiliser is not used (I don't trust it) immobiliser will probably leave me stranded. Will probably remote start from my pocket and leave my bike ticking over for hours and overheat itself. Seem to not last long either all the pub boards go green with corrosion in the remote fobs

    For me, the Sachs was on the right track: 15bhp with more torque than a stroker single is a good recipe for a lightweight bike that's just a bike. I'm thinking of the old 125 Superdream aren't I? I'm only surprised the Japanese makers didn't pursue the retro racer look. Would've made more sense than mini Harleys.

      Maybe with a few of them, but I have a 1999 Yamaha Virago 125 and despite looking like a cruiser, the weight is probably closer to an electric bike than it is a 350cc bike 😂 it’s a lovely machine. Very smooth and reliable

    Why in the world would any manufacturer add that much weight and cost to build a 125cc Vtwin

    • @SweBeach2023
      @SweBeach2023 3 роки тому +1

      Having a 125 cc twin myself I agree it's a weird idea, and I would love for it to have 25-30 HP as compared to the 14 it has today. More than that the frame won't be able to deal with. But as compared to a single cylinder bike a twin run so much smoother, meaning a far more comfortable ride. Let's face it, a 125 cc bike is a compromise limited by regulation, not what would make the best bike for a certain budget.
